Nightmare and Blue didn't like the situation, but noticeably calmed down when Error took Ink's brush and hid it. Not even they knew where it was.

Blue, reluctantly, healed Ink's leg and arm. Not much. He was still in immense pain, but he would be able to use them.

Since Ink couldn't use his attack magic without his brush and he was just barely able to walk, they didn't restrain him... much.

Error tied his hands behind his back while Nightmare kept one sharp tentacle pointed at him the whole time they talked about what they were going to do with him.

"We should take him back and see what the others want to do with him, it's only fair," and then a slightly muttered, "even if I want to smash his skull in with my hammer."

"Error, we should kill him right now, I don't trust him," Nightmare glared at Ink.

"I know N-Nightmare, but he p-promised to stop creating," Error looked at Blue, "I agree with you, w-we should see what the council wants t-to do," Nightmare sighed.

"Error, you're too trusting," he pointed at Ink, "He's injured and tortured you for years! How can you trust him!?"

Nightmare was getting more and more frantic.

Blue set his hand on Nightmare's shoulder. It seemed to have a calming effect on him because his tentacles stopped twitching so wildly.

"I don't like keeping him alive either, Mare, but we have to trust Error's judgement," Blue laughed, "Stars knows he's a far better judge than any of us," at that, Nightmare laughed.

"Yeah you're right, but I will rip him apart, literally, if he just looks at one of my gang the wrong way."

"Speaking of the g-gang, we have to tell the others a-about how they aren't bad, it o-only seems fair since they know the truth about m-m-me," Nightmare and Blue agreed to this.

They decided that they would reveal the gang after they figured out what to do with Ink.

Error opened a portal to the Multivoid living room. Nightmare and Blue followed, making sure Ink didn't run away.

The others appeared to be pretty worried before they saw them. They must have put the blankets away because Error didn't see them anywhere. Classic and Red were talking in hushed voices, while Dream, Outer, and Sci were watching TV. To Error though, it was obvious they had something else on their minds.

Once the group noticed them though, all hell broke loose.

"Where did you guys go?!"

"Why is Ink with you?"

"Why did you take so long?"

And many other questions were thrown at them.

"GUYS! Settle down so that Error can actually explain to you what happened," Blue yelled.

It was super effective.

Error explained to them how Fresh was badly injured, and how they found out who did it. At least Ink had the decency to try and look guilty about what he did, even if they all knew for a fact that he didn't.

No soul, no feelings, no guilt.

Dream asked Nightmare if he could talk to him alone. Nightmare reluctantly agreed at Error's insistence that he should.

Dream led him to a hallway out of the others' hearing range.

"So... Nightmare..." Dream didn't seem to know how to continue his sentence.

"What," Nightmare snarled.

"I wanted to say that..." he sighed, "I'm sorry." Dream didn't look Nightmare in the eyes, he was too ashamed.

"I know that doesn't make up for what I've done to you, but just know that I still love you broth-" he was cut off by Nightmare.

"Stop, you lost the right to call me brother a long time ago," Nightmare glared, but after a moment his gaze softened slightly, "but, I do except your apology, but that doesn't mean I forgive you!"

"You have to earn my trust and friendship back," Dream nodded, as if he was expecting this.

"I know, and I promise you that I won't let you down again, Nightmare," Dream smiled, finally looking Nightmare in the eyes.

Nightmare was...not surprised.. but he didn't expect Dream to be so sincere. Maybe they would be able to patch things up after all.

Nightmare smiled. It was a small smile, but it was a start.

He walked back to the main room, giving Dream an awkward shoulder pat before leaving.

Dream's smile got even brighter. He and Nightmare could finally be brothers again.

Not yet though, he had to prove himself to Nightmare first. Dream vowed to himself that he wouldn't ever abandon his sibling again.

Nightmare walked into a room full of chaos.

Error was being forced to lay down on the couch by Blue. Classic and Red were arguing about what to do with Ink. Sci and Outer were holding Classic and Red back because they had apparently tried to fight each other.

Nightmare contemplated walking back into the hallway, but Error saw him.

"HELP M-M-MEEE!"

Blue was now sitting on Error's chest, "Don't help him Nightmare, he has to rest and he knows it!"

Nightmare snickered, "I don't think he's gonna get much rest with you sitting on him," he tried to pull Blue off of Error, but they just ended up with Blue laying on top of Nightmare.

"Hah! K-karma!" "Oh Shut up Error."

During all of this, Ink was tied to a chair.
