Deep in the ocean, a couple was waiting for there egg to hatch.
She is hatching!"
"I know shhhh! I want to hear her!"
"Fine."
A little dragoned slowly came out of the egg wall. It clawed the wall as it came out. It looked as if it tried to hatch gracefully but it failed, stumbling down into her mother's claws.
"She looks wonderful!"
"I TOLD YOU TO BE QUIET!"
"Fine." Flashed Current
"That is better." Wave flashed angerly.
"Yop?" Flashed the little dragonet.
"Yop!"
"What will you name her?"
"I am THINKING!" She flashed angerly.
They both felt the waves as the little dragonet flaps her wings.
I feel the Crests and Troughs.. thought Wave.
"We will name her Crest." She flashed.
"Well I think that is a weird name."
"Well who cares?"
"I do?"
"Still," said Wave as she looked at her offspring. "We will name her Crest"
"West!" Crest flashed.
Wave hugged her, and pulled Current in too. She booped her head with him as if to make a friendly "hello".
I will make sure she will never leave the ocean, Current. She will never go out, she will stay here as long as I am here. I cross my heart, Current. I cross it.
