Part one...

Safe And Hidden

Four years later...

It just started as any normal day, waking up and getting up. Crest yawned as she stood up. "Mother what time is it?" She flashed.

"Time for school it is!"

Crest groaned. She swam to the table and began to eat.
"You eat like a girl not like a monkey!" Wave flashed.

"Mother," Crest exclaimed, "BY THE THREE MOONS, WHAT IS A MONKEY!?"

Crest's mother stayed quiet for a long time. I only hear of the word monkey, but what is it? Right, is it a ouside thing? Because I have seen all of the creatures that are in the ocean.

Crest shivered, remembering of that green fish-like thing which bit her. That thing was horrifying! By the seaweed, how did I managed to get close to it?!

"JUSR EAT FOR OCEAN'S SAKE!" Wave flashed.

Right, I forgot that mother has anger issues. Form what Crest remember from her father, right after she hatch her mother was compalaining about her name even though she named her. NAMED HER.

"I think you should go now. You know, in case you go to school late." Wave flashed

"Sure mother." Crest said. She got up to leave, but froze there.

The world around her just disappeared right in front of her eyes. She was standing next to someone else, with the ground the color black and black top with white dots at the top.

"Can you hear me?" Crest looked and saw a wonderful night black dragon was standing right in front of her. She had a white tear drop on her eye and was holding something in her hand. Going to draw that later. She also had no webs on her talons and on her spine. The backround was a green thing at the top with brown branches like coral. It seemed like it was growing from it.

"What?" Flashed Crest.

"Right. I forgot you have never speaked before. Just listen to me. Your mother had done something wrong. Take good care of her, because if you don't then she will be gone, and you will have to go look for her." The voice began to sound like it was disappearing. "Take ca-"

The world came back, and saw her mother shaking her.

"HEAR ME?!" Her mother flashed, shaking her.

"Wait what...?" Crest responded.

"DO YOU HEAR ME?!" She flashed.

"Mom," Crest flashed, "it is see not hear." What does hear mean?

"It does not matter," she flashed. " What matters is that you are going to be late for school!"

"Fine then, I'll go."

So Crest left, waving bye to her mother. On her way to school, she was thinking about of what she saw. What was that starfish shaped sapphire on her hand? How did she find me? Why did she talk to me? And the most frequently asked question she had: What does she mean by 'I have to go look for her? I am not lazy to go look for he-"

Crest crashed into a school wall. Ouch! That hurted! She rubbed her snout before she began to sob, so then everything went black.

Crest opened her eyes after a few minutes and saw a nurse looking at her.

"She going to be okay?" Asked a dragon.

"She will." Reponded one of the many nurses Crest saw.

Crest looked at the dragon who asked that question. Oh, High Tide. Can someone kill me please? I will rather die than stay in the same place with him for ten seconds. One of the nurses there looked at her then at Low Tide. Did she just read my mind? Deal with that later Crest. "Um, what happened?" Crest asked.

"You don't remember?" Asked one of the nurses. Another one looked at the one who asked Crest a question with a worried look.

"Of course I do! I crashed into a wall and fainted."

"One of the students said that you begain to bleed after he found you there." She nodded towards High Tide. He smiled happily. "He said something about sharks near by and brought you here."

"SHARK! AND IT IS VEARY HUGE WHITH FIFTY-TWO OTHERS!"
Crest froze in place,  realizing that there were sharks.

"Swim for you life!"

"Every dragon for themselves!"

"Hide!"

"Act dead so they won't get you!"

Ya, every dragon was screaming. She heard small voices which begain to hurt her ears. The nurses on the other hand, acted like it was all normal.

There were fifty-three other sharks, and she saw some rip a few other students. One of the sharkes swam towards her friend and crush Hurricane and ripped him in half!

"Hurricane!" Flashed Crest. With her headache and snout ache, she swam as fast as she could out the window and towards him.

"This is a lot of pain I have felt in years." Hurricane flashed weakly. His lighting scales begain to fade.

"Don't go. Please don't."

"I think I should go to the other side of the world now." He flashed as he looked up towards the surface she was never allowed to go to.

"I was never able to see the surface with our friends." He said.

"We will go soon. I promise."

"Don't make promises you can't keep."

"I am not!"

"I.. have to... go now."

"I will miss you "

With that, he died. Right here, in her arms. Crest blinked back tears as she let him go and slowly swam away. Low Tide made a wicked smile which made Crest so sure that he was the one who brought the sharks here. He all of a sudden made a worried face.

"Crest, look out!" He flashed, waving his talons like crazy.

"Not listening to you and your lies!" Crest flashed.

"Behind you!" He flashed."behind you!"

Crest looked behind her and saw the most biggest and fattest shark she has ever seen. And it was coming towards her.

It smashed into her and opened it's mouth to reveal hundreds and hundreds of white and shiny teeth coming at her waist. It bit down hard and Crest felt the sharp pain Hurricane felt. Reef was swimming towards her as she began to close her eyes and grind her teeth.
