You missed the bunker, this dusty old green couch you were laying on could never compare to your bed back home. You were bored out of your mind, the only thing there was to do was think too much and look up at the worn down ceiling that looked like it used to be white in this abandoned place.
You were once again upset that Dean didn't let you go on the hunt like he used to. Even if you'd suggest staying at the bunker with Castiel he would get all weird and find an excuse to bring you here with them where it's "safer".
Dean had been acting weird for a while now, it's been a year or more that all of you have known each other and Dean is the only one who changed drastically.
Doesn't flirt with you how he used to every chance he got, not messing around with you anymore and just being overprotective, he even says your name different. At least he still makes it obvious when he's checking you out.
You missed the old Dean.
You sat up quickly when you heard the loud creek of the front door opening. The silence scaring you a little since the door hasn't closed indicating someone would have been inside so you just waited.
"(Y/N)?" Dean said.
You let out a deep breath of relief realizing it was just Dean. You got up and walked to the front door to go see what he needed.
"You scared me." You said as you stood by the door inside waiting for him to step in. He looked kind of nervous and you wanted desperately to know why.
"Sorry, um we need to talk." He said as he still stood outside putting his hand nervously on the back of his neck.
"Are you okay Dean?" You asked and opened the door all the way for him to come inside, grabbing his big warm hand and pulled him in because he didn't look like he'd do it himself.
You closed the door behind him since you didn't see Sam or the car already knowing he went to go get food.
"Where's Sam?" You asked after letting go of his hand, missing his touch already.
"Oh uhh he went to go get some grub." Dean answered with a smile not making any eye contact at all. Awkwardly he made his way towards the couch expecting you to follow and you did.
Little did you know Sam ditched him so he'd spill his feelings for you. Sam knew he had to take his time while he was out for that.
He sat down slowly as you awkwardly just stood in front of him. He kindly gave the spot next to him a pat so you'd sit down with him, you kind of wished he would've patted his lap.
"You're making me nervous Dean." You said anxiously.
He laughed quietly to himself at that "The feeling is mutual." He said confusing you a bit.
