Subaru x Yui: White Roses

Chapter 2

„Come with me for a while" said Subaru.
Yui took his hand. He lifted her up and carried her floating in a secret place of the garden full of beautiful sparkling white roses. Yui's eyes shined of the beautiful sight. She was amazed how beautiful they look. "I never saw these before, they are so beautiful." She smiled. Subaru was flustered, but his expression darkened. "The meaning of them are rather beautiful.." He looked over to Yui what made her jump, than he smiled. "But as you like 'em, I think I'm happy too, cause I like your smile the most." Yui's eyes sparkled from what she heard, the one grumpy vampire likes seeing her happy? Or rather likes her at all?! That is something very new to her, but she had to think of Ayato a lot lately he is sick and she has the feeling it's her fault or more her blood. "(Ayato-kun drank my blood and became sick.. Is there something wrong with it? Or is it more like defense from my body?)" Yui looked at Subaru. He didn't drink much of my blood, if I try maybe...
The blonde embraced the vampire. "P-please drink some of my blood!" The vampire was shocked. Could he really drink her blood of her permission? "You sure about that?" Yui nooded. The young looked deep in her eyes, his expression slowly darkened. „Are you really sure? It will hurt like you know!" Some tears dropped she nodded harder. He blushed, why does she look so cute when she cries like that, his hands shacking, he carefully touched the side of her neck and teased the place he was going to bite with liking and sucking. Yui let's out little giggles and gasps. The young vampire than bites gently in her soft flesh. While he sucked her blood carefully, he whipped her tears gently away. Yui than let out a quiet moan. She gasped and put her hands on her mouth. "(Did I just?)" The white looked at her in surprise. The blonde just stared into his eyes and let out a giggle. The white got grumpy. „Are you trying to tease me?" He let go of her and left. The blonde didn't understand what happened just now.

While Yui was on her way back in Ayatos room to get some day sleep, an zombie like Ayato catches up and threw her down. He smelled her tense of sweet, sweet blood. Yui struggled, but it didn't help, the vampire was to strong.
„Ayato-kun please, let go." Then She remembered. „(Ayato-kun is sick cause of.. me.)" She stopped struggling. Ayatos mouth opened and a quiet voice came out of his. „Yu..i....." Yui gasped as the vampire collapsed again. She sits up and holds the vampire tight. „You will get well again. I believe, we all do. Please do not die just like that!"
Then Reiji came by. „He's a vampire he doesn't die so easily, but it's refreshing how you care about all of them." Yui whipped away her tears and smiled. „Not just them, about you as well. You all mean so much to me now." Her gaze wandered to Ayato. „I don't ever want to see any one of you in pain and even if you're immortal I want to protect you with my heat." The elder vampire looked down to her with his usual gaze and left her alone with the vampire. Yui, still holding on to Ayato, kissed his forehead and whispers something in his ear. „You'll always mean much to me."

As the daylight came, the blonde tried to get the sick vampire in bed. She looked in his face it was full of pain... She stroked his hair kindly and whispers: „Maybe some of my blood will help you feel better.."
Yui searched for something to cut her wrist a little. She found a shelf and opened everything. In the next moment she saw a picture of her framed on the top were she could barely see it. She decided to look closer after she found a knife or something.
In his drawer she found her old phone, all shredded... but it'll work!
She cut herself a little in the wrist and let the blood drop in his mouth. His first painful expression softened. She was relieved. "Oh Ayato I thought we might lose you, you always trouble yourself." She than looked up to the shelf were her picture was.
She returned to the shelf and tried to reach the top to get the picture and the letter next to it. By the try of it she trembled and fell.
Before she hit the ground she was flowing. She was hold and it was so warm her hole body heated up too. She turned around, her face all red, and saw Ayato holding her even that he had high fever. "A-Ayato-kun......Ah! P-put me down you aren't healed yet! And you aren't cold!" The vampire giggled.
"But you, pancake, were so dumb to give me your blood thinking it would work and heal me... Don't you know it was the cause of it?!" The vampire grind at her knowing it was all unworthy but delicious. The blonde looked at his body and him holding her.
"But Ayato-kun...when my blood was the cause of this why can you walk just now?"
"Huuh? I don't know what you are talking about I felt like this whiles ago... The potion from Reiji must have worked."
The blonde looked shocked. "But why now after my blood? It doesn't make sense.."
"What are you mumbling? Maybe you begged me to drink more of your delicious blood?"
She gasped and took a big jump away from him, then she looked down her face filled with tears, as she looked up she cried and sobbed.
"I-I don't know why you're always so cruel to me or see me as a toy or something and even if you don't remember but I found this and the letter next to it!" She was holding the picture and the letter, than she fell on her knees and sobbed. She covered her eyes with her hands, the tears roll down her collarbone and her wrists. Ayato sighed and took her hands, holding them he whispered: "I'm sorry...just read it.." He than disappeared.
Yui holding the letter close to her heart, which thumped hundred times faster now, couldn't believe that he actually did say 'Sorry'.

The blonde went back to her room getting ready for the morning. While she undressed someone knocked at the door. "Wait a second!" She than opened the door, no one was there. She closed it and as she turned around she jumped. "A-Ayato-kun what are you- Where you knocking at the door?" The vampire just looked at her. She sat down on her bed next to him. "I'm sorry I haven't read the letter yet." He looked at the blanket and looked a little sad. "That's Not why I'm here.. I just want to lay down next to you and sleep here..."
The blonde looked very surprised, but smiled afterwards. "I'll get ready quick okay?" The vampire blushed slightly. Yui smiles. "(How cute.)" She got herself a glass of water, putting on her night shelf and crawls under her blanket next to the vampire. She looked over to him, he already fell asleep. She smiled and stroked softly through his hair. „(He looks so peaceful when he's sleeping..)" Yui blushed and laid down looking towards to the vampire. His hand laid in front of her chest, Yui took his hand, it was cold again. She giggles slightly. „Your hand is so big..and cold that means your fever turned down. I'm glad.." She whispers.

In the middle of the daytime the blonde wakes up and rubbed her eyes. "Mmh....What time is it?" She took her alarm clock, in her sleepy mind she thought she saw something odd on the nightstand lays a new phone.
She grabbed it and pressed the power button she sees a message from Ayato:
-Oi! When you see this I guess you got the phone. Meet me at 8:40 pm in the dining room!

She rubbed her eyes and stroked through her hair. "(Why do I get a phone? And why now?)"
She looked again on the clock it was 7 pm now. She stood up took some regular clothes and goes into the bathroom to change.
She opened her door and bumped into something. "Ahh- Huh? Subaru-kun..?"
The vampire pushed she one handed back in her room. "What are you doing?"
He looked at her and turned around to close the door. " You can't go!"
The blonde still confused just stared at him and sighted. "Fine, but I need to change so if you don't mind !" She waved him to turn around.
First he gave no response than in a flash he blushed. "Y-you can't change while I'm in here! I-I'm a vampire so much flesh so many places to bite and suck would drive me crazy!"
Now even Yui blushed she wouldn't have thought that way. "Your not supposed to watch me that's why you should turn around! I don't have another choice when you're not leaving!"
The white looked at her in confusion.
"I never said that I wouldn't wait in front of the door !?" The blonde looked at him again.
"Huh?" Subaru opened the door.
"I'll wait outside when you're ready just come out.." She nodded and the vampire than left the room.
While the girl changed he stands outside and sights. "This girl will die sooner or later when she keeps that up, than Yui came through the door. She looked at him and smiled.
"I need to go see Ayato-kun now!"
Subaru grabbed her hand. "Not alone..!"
Yui was confused, why won't he stop saying that? "Subaru-kun what is wrong why are you so obsessed with this? Why can't I go by myself?" His kind gaze darkened. "If you want to die than please."
