Through the years, the status of the Philippines, with regards to the global competitions has changed a lot. It became the most leading country on Asia. Because of this situation, it is not a surprise that every town in the country has a wealthy family living in it. Of course there are still the low and middle classes people but the number of the rich families living here suddenly increased because of the country’s economical status.
One of the richest families are the Ymasa clan. They are popular world-wide. The couple, Eduardo and Lolita Ymasa, the present owners of the Ymasa Group of Companies (Y.G.C), was about to have their firs-born. Eduardo wanted a son but unfortunately, his wife Lolita gave birth to a lovely baby girl. Eduardo had no choice but to accept what God has given them. They christened their child with the name Lady Lee Ymasa. The whole country was interested to know who was going to inherit the Y.G.C. from its present owners. What the public knew was that they had a son and not a daughter. They stick to the rumor because the public never laid their eyes on Lady Lee because she never went out to the public. They never knew her at all.
Eduardo and Lolita loved and treasured their daughter because after her birth they never had another child. As an only child, Lady Lee was provided with every thing that she needed. She even gets the things she never asked from her parents. But even though she was spoiled and treated as a princess she was still disciplined and never been a brat to all the people working at their mansion.
When Lady Lee was already 3 years old it became her habit to stroll around the park with her yaya. One sunny morning, Lady Lee’s yaya wanted to do their habit with Lady Lee. It was a really fine day. They were walking around the park, buying ice creams, balloons. Lady Lee was always pleased when her yaya places her on their favorite bench at the park and throw bread crumbs on the ground for the loitering pigeons to eat. Lady Lee’s yaya noticed two suspicious-looking men that seemed to be watching them from a bench just is not quite far from them. Those men were actually one of the most vicious criminals there are in the country. To how they look at Lady Lee Ymasa it is obvious that their next victim will be her. When they were approaching her, Lady Lee’s yaya recognized one of the guys who was once shown on T.V for being wanted by the police. Good thing is that Lady Lee’s yaya got to her before the culprits reach her. She run fast and went to their driver who was waiting in the parking lot. Back home, everybody was alarmed to what happened in the park. “Are you okay? Were you hurt?” asked Eduardo. “No sir. I acted fast. They did not touch your daughter. She’s perfectly fine.” explained Lady Lee’s yaya. “Good thing is that you escaped them!” Lolita said with relief. Eduardo was still worried with their daughter. He stared to his child and to his wife who was that time embracing their daughter, with this scenery he knew he had to do something to protect their one and only child.
Eduardo and Lolita stayed up all night thingking about ways to protect their child. She is the only thing they can think to be the most important treasure as of the moment. They sought all the factors that are connected to Lady Lee’s safety. They even realized that she needs to attend school to study. It became more difficult for them to work something out when they have to consider the girl’s safety ang also her freedom. Everything was puzzling them until they came to a plan. They decided to sacrifice the first 13 years of Lady Lee’s life to be locked at home for their temporary measures. They will have Lady Lee to have her home-schooled. She will only be able to go out again until she reach college.
When Lady Lee was 5 years old, she was started to be home-schooled until her years as an highschool. She was opened to the fact that she has to be at home until she can already take care of herself. She was also taught of different kinds of martial arts. She became a black-belter in karate. She also mastered judo and kendo as well.
Years past, Lady Lee is now 16 years old, and as promised by her parents she can now go lived the life she deserves. She can now study like any other typical students her age. She is so excited to meet and have friends her age because for the past 13 years she have been inside the mansion only surrounded by maids, butlers, drivers and other workers in the mansion.
