A Well Deserved Rest

Serena's POV

I was looking out the car window watching as we passed all the streetlights that were lit as we drove down the road. As I looked I saw little shop's and cafes along with signs that had different words of encouragement to buy there products. I was tapped on the shoulder by a rough hand retreating me out of my spaced out fantasy "you ready" my dad asked I simply nodded and scooted my body out of the Taxi. As I felt my feet hit the pavement I quickly breathed and exhaled through my mouth, I was tired the bags underneath my eyes were noticeable I hadn't slept in two day's neither had my dad we always had to worry about these damn Fables trying to kill each other in this town. My dad lit a cigarette putting it up to his lips before he walked into the building as I followed. I walked into the building and saw Toad on the way in he stopped us and started a conversation with my dad something about a glamour I didn't hear a lot though I was in my own little world at the moment imagining how comfy my bed will feel when I finally get some sleep. After My dads and Toad's conversation was over I started to head upstairs hearing a voice I did not want to hear at all today. I waited for my dad to make it up the stairs before kicking down the door "okay what the hell is going on her-" but I was cut off by Woody slapping some girl across the face. Before I was able to react my dad pinned woody to the wall, the woman walked to Woody "you got something on your face" she said then spat the blood in her mouth at him landing on his forehead between his eyes,he went into a rage and head butted my dad hard . I glared at Woody "I am not in the fucking mood to deal with this today Woody" I said he started to charge at me and I blocked his many tries to punch me until I finally got him into a hold until he smacked his head into mine I stumbled back a little. That's when my dad grabbed woody and threw him into a couch but Woody kicked the couch back hitting my dad while he grabbed his chest from the blow. Woody moved the couch out of the way while walking over to my father grabbing him by the neck pinning him against the wall I took this as an opportunity to deal with woody I grabbed him by his shirt and slamming him against the bed with no mattress I kneed him in the groin while he tried to struggle but I kept punching him in the face. I grabbed Woody again and smashed his head into the sink he tried to fight against me even punched me in the chest and stomach  a few times but he kept on getting back up and fighting and this time he grabbed his ax and swung at me but missed. That is when my dad stepped in an started fighting Woody for the ax they fought back and forth until my dad hit in the head with the back of the ax knocking him down to the ground face first. "You should probably leave now" my dad said trying to warn the woman "look I am not leaving until I get what's mine" , Woody started to get off spouting nonsense how my dad broke his jaw I honestly wanted to laugh at the situation and told him how pathetic he looked. Woody apparently hadn't had enough since he still challenged my dad beginning the fight all over again until they both fell out the window! I looked down to see if my dad was alright I started to run out of the apartment down the stairs onto the pavement to see my dad lying on the car "are you okay" I asked "peachy" he replied back I tried to help him back up but was stopped by Woody who started dragging him off the car grabbing him by his neck against the sign pushing him in cracking it. I fought back and started punching and kicking Woody to let go of my dad but he wouldn't budge I noticed my dads eye's started to turn yellow "oh no" I whispered he was going to transform. But was quickly interrupted by the Woodsman getting an ax in his head ironic right? Woody started to crawl away until the woman started stepping on the ax in his head making it go deeper. The woman was stopped though sadly by my dad after she gave a couple more kicks to the groin. I almost felt bad for him but he was the man I did despise and tarnished my reputation throwing it in my face every now and then. After my dad had pulled the ax out of Woody's head he chased after the woman probably to talk to her.

Time Skip this is still Serena's POV

the Woodland luxury apartment

I was now outside mine and  dad's apartment we shared he unlocked opened the door to the apartment I decided to go and wash the blood off my hands in the kitchen sink. Dad looked at me like he waned to start a conversation "what is it" I asked he looked back to me "nothing I was just worried about you" he replied " dad you don't need to worry I am not a little girl anymore" I said "you will always be my little girl and I will always worry about you don't you forget it" he said he kissed my for head "look I'm tired I haven't slept in two days you should go to sleep to"I said I gave my dad a kiss on the cheek while saying goodnight. I started to head to my room opening the whit door to reveal my room I didn't even bother changing into my pajamas i just plopped on my bed right away. I looked above at the pictures on my wall thinking about the fun times and memories I had in them. One picture was my dad giving me my necklace on my birthday, the next one was with Snow and I, we were eating out at a some cafe together. The last one I looked at was with me and Male, Male was Maleficent's nickname I had made up for him, in the picture it was winter they were both wearing jackets that looked so comfortable and cozy he had his arm's around her waist while his head was on top of hers both smiling at the camera I smile and looked at the photo pinning them all back on the wall I turn off all my lights except my fairy lights I like how they lit up my room it reminded me of home a little bit. I then pulled the blankets away crawled into bed with now a smile on my face and draped the covers over my body and let sleep take hold of me.
