Lol hi everyone

"Good morning, Mr. Wen. Did you sleep well?"

"I suppose. Are we continuing today?"

"If that's alright with you."

He humed, turning towards the window in front of his desk and focused his eyes on a bird in its nest, "I'd like to hear about you, Wonwoo," his lips quirked up into a crooked smile, "What brought on this interest in cannibalism? I know it's not for money or an assignment. You truly enjoy this. Why?"

I shrugged, "It found it fascinating, I suppose. I like how the mind works, especially when someone has done something outside the norm."

He tuts, "That's not all of it, Wonwoo. You're hiding something from Junnie."

My leg begins to jiggle at the sudden stressful question. Having the incident from the day before happen, I didn't know if I should trust him. I knew I shouldn't tell him anything about myself, but it seemed like he wouldn't tell me anything until I gave him something in return. My brass ring wasn't enough. I sigh and give in,

"I was born dead. The doctor revived me, but I would never feel my whole left side. It's completely numb. Well, when I was a kid, I quickly developed an anxiety disorder and chewed on my fingers and wrist as a stress-reliever."

"Self cannibalism," he hums, turning toward me, to where our knees are touching. I dont bother to watch his facial expressions, I knew he was enjoying himself a bit too much by his tone. I continue,

"But it wasn't because I wanted to eat my own flesh. As the habit faded, though, I slowly became interested with really macabre things. Horror films, mostly though, because my mother didn't want me being too weird, I guess. Zombie films were my favorite until I discovered true crime online. I read every article and blog I could find about serial killers and cannibalism. When you were on the run, I saw it as my chance to put my practice to use."

His mouth pulled into a cheeky grin, "So you're a fan."

I inwardly rolled my eyes, "I'm not one of those kids who wants to sleep with a serial killer. I don't get off on death. This is a hobby. I'm only here because you fascinate me."

He leans forward, so our noses barely touch. I don't move, and watch his smile twist further up.

"You fascinate me, as well, Wonwoo."

 🍽

"It was so, ugh, I can't even describe the feeling! It was like he was like he was skinning me with his eyes. Not undressing. Skinning! And you should've heard his voice when I told him about my hand.. I feel like he's going to bring it up as much as possible."

"Nah, he'll probably just beat his meat to the thought of dead, infant Wonwoo."

"Ugh!" I roll over to the other side of the bed, out of my webcam's shot and look up at the ceiling. Even in the safety of my hotel room, I could feel Junhui's eyes all over me, hear him hum inside my head. I let out a shaky breath, "What if he actually does?"

"I dunno, it's kinda hot to think someone else wants my princess." I could imagine Mingyu's little shrug and smirk/smile he does. I sit back up and glare at the screen, "Well, hopefully you'll think it's hot when he rapes, murders, and eats my flesh like the rest of his victims, hm? Boil me, mash me, stick me in a stew?"

"Alright Frodo, calm down-"

"That was Sam, not Frodo, you filth."

"And they were talking about potatoes, so who's the real filth?"

"Still you, for mixing up Frodo and Sam!"

He rolls his eyes, but keeps smiling. Mingyu was always so easy-going, but he had his moments. Just before I left for China, he made sure to check my medication inventory, "In case something happens! I won't be there to remind you about your four o'clock's, and what if you fall? Eat a bit of cucumber? Hell, you could have a seizure and I won't be there! Your Mandarin isn't the best, sweetheart. What if you get carted off to a hospital, and can't tell them anything?"

I roll my eyes at the memory. I only failed one mandarin quiz, and it was his fault. If he just left me alone, I'd have gotten an A. I also wouldn't have had a boyfriend now, but I'm house Ravenclaw on Pottermore for a reason. My mother wasn't too pleased with the grade, either.

"Then I'll just call you and give you the savings account number to buy a plane ticket. Duh."

There was a short, but heavy silence. I watch as Mingyu shifts uncomfortably in his favorite chair and sigh, "You know I can handle whatever happens. Tell you what, once I get the interview with his family in, I'll take the first flight home."

"I just don't want anything bad to happen to you."

I smile, "Then nothing will."

Sorry for the wait, lads, Summer's been crazy and very lacking in WiFi; but I hope y'all liked this chapter, despite how short and pointless it was :,)
