Gabriella: The Last Survivor

Chapter one

Fire as high as the sky,children crying, women screaming for mercy as the mighty turn to ash, bodies everywhere swimming in the pond of their own blood, people begging for mercy as he slowly kills each and every one of them,spearing not even the children. You can see nothing of him except his red blood eyes as he slices them through and throwing their bodies onto the pile and at last when there is no one left he reaches towards her grabs her from her hair and stabs her heart with a dagger .

"Uhaagh ha ha aaha ...",she wakes up breathing heavily trying to get some air in her lungs "That son of a bitch, that piece of shit ..."she continues to abuse him as she rubs her face and then suddenly stops as if she has gone into another world but then gets up and goes towards her bathroom, she looks at herself in the mirror standing by the sink and starts to splash her face and in the moment everything near her ,she goes at it for a few moments but then picks up her towel and pats herself dry walking back to her room. "Gabriella are you awake? I need to talk to you ", someone knocks at the door," Yeh come in Marshall door's open ",she says sitting on her bed, the door opens and a man in his early 40's comes in he has deep blue eyes ,reddish hair and a beard almost a week old.This man is Marshall he is Gabriella's guardian, he has been taking care of her since she was found on the "Dark Day ".

"I came to talk to you about Demitry, but .... judging from you state I think you already know " he moves her wet hair away from her face.

"Story of my life huh", she puts her dark purplish hair into a bun "Inform them.. I will be there", there is slicence in the room when all of the sudden," Gabrielllaaa...", a voice comes from downstairs, it's Isabella she is their maid but not less then a part of their family, for she has worked for them all her life and has practically raised Marshal and Gabriella.

"So what are you young folks having today my homey eggs benedict.. or that burnt toast of yours ", she points sarcastically towards Marshall. "It was only one time stop it already", he rolles his eyes as he face palms.

"Marshall I need to talk to you about something ", things get a little serious "Yeh sure what is it ?"

"Not now first we'll talk later first I need to change", she pushes him out the door with the smile on her face.

Later that day Gabriella and Marshall went out side in his garden for a walk, it was noon, the sun was covered with thick clouds with patches here and there from which light was coming down as if it was a waterfall, which made the snow on the grass shine like little diamonds. Marshall castle like home was in a village like area far from the Urban, far enough to make this earth seem peaceful, one mile from is garden lied a white wood Forest which at this time was covered all in snow.

"Are you going to..." ,her phone rings out loud, it's a call from Riven, "Hold on I need to take this" . "Yeh say, what do you want ? Ok...ok yep I'm on my way bye ", " Sorry man gotta ditch... The struggle is real my friend", picking up her jacket she says to Marshall and runs out the back door.

"She is such a pain why don't they just call her a day early: it obviously takes her a day to get here".

"Oh shut up Riven! The last thing I need is to be shamed by you", comes Gabriella's voice from behind as she approaches her two team mates.

"You yourself are nothing but a pain in the ass aren't I right Arein", she turns to look at him.

"Oh I am not playing this game of your's any more, every time you fight I end up being the bad guy while you both end up eating noodles acting like nothing ever happened".

"It's not my fault he makes such delicious noodles; you know it's the only thing I love to eat", she protests.

"Awww... that's so sweet of you to say that about my noodles; Did you hit your self in the head today?"

"Don't you dar...", she eats her words as the mission head General William steps in the room.

"Are we ready to move out Gabriella? Or is there something you want to say Riven first ?" There is a sarcastic tone in his voice.

"No there is not", she puts an obviously big fake smile on her face to mock Gen.William.
"Well then lets go to The Dedrin Forest at once".

The entire forest reeks smell of human blood and burnt human flesh, some bodies hanging from the branches of the trees, many bodies on the ground with most of their parts burnt to ashes. For many miles to come one can see nothing but death.

"I don't even know why we do this anymore, it's the 6th attack after The Black Day, he doesn't seems to be stupid enough to leave a clue behind", says Riven to Gen.William," Yes I know! But there is nothing else we can do but inspect".

They go at it for about that entire day and return to the head quarters as the sun sets.
"Anything unusual this time Gen William?"asks officer Dan.
"I'm afraid not, it's the same as before; no survivors this time either".
"Well God Bless the souls of those who died poor fellows". They depart to their usual work.

"So did you see it this time?" Says Arien picking up a sword and handing it to Riven," Am I ever enough lucky not to see a mass murder in my sleep! Of course I saw it, in-fact this time he also saw me".
"What!! He saw you?", Arien says astonished, "Well there is always a first time I guess", says Riven swinging his arms over her.

The luxuries of the castles were never something Gabriella was into, the idea of them always seemed to bug her ,"More nooks and corners for them to attack from" she would say, King Liam on the other hand would always insisted for her to move in there. Gabriella meant a lot to him, after all she was Ariel's daughter his most closest friend, the godmother to his son, his ally in need, his queen. Loyalty lays deep within the heart, just because a person isn't there anymore doesn't mean your feelings for them vanish, they are buried deep within your heart which comes up each time you are lonely piercing through one's heart.

"Do I have to refuse you again Li li am?" says Gabriella mockingly, thats what Ariel would call him

"Just like your damn other aren't you child, stubborn as hell", he says signaling the whine boy to pour more into his cup

"I have a feeling I am turning you into a alcoholic my sweet pea", she says taking the glass away from him," Wouldn't want your wife to lecture the life out of me now would we", she makes him finally laugh,

" At least you don't have to sleep with her even my guards can't protect me from those night talks", he says hustling between his laughs

"What are you laughing like a mad man my love", says Queen Feera walking towards the throne hall, blood sheds from his face as his laugh fades away into a cough

"Oh nothing my beautiful Queen, I must say that violet dress really brings out the blue in your eyes," he reaches towards her hand and kisses it.

Raising her brow she looks towards Gabriella, " He said your night talks are soul draining and your so monstrous that even the guards can't protect him", she spills out calmly her lips twitching from not trying to burst out laughing

"I never said monstrous!!" Liam panics.

"But you did say the rest", Feera says tightening her grip on his hand, " This is outrageous you are calling the king a liar", he pulls away his hand," I heard you coming in Liam", feera laughs at panicked face.

"They fall for it each time don't they", Gabriella smiles at Liam's glaring face, "Women are their favorite things to nag about, can't really help it can u li li am", Feera pinches his cheeks,

" The girl is a manipulator she made me tricked me into saying those things", Liam whines, "ohh boohoo crybaby", Gabriella roars at the top her voice running out of the throne room.

"Contributing towards my parent's divorce are you?" Arien says walking towards her, "Doing them things I am best at", Gabriella grins from teeth to teeth,

"So coming back to the mission at hand I need your help sluggy" , Gabriella says looking here and there the halls, " My word could you not... sluggy seriously? Could you be any worse at giving nicknames?" he says with a disgusted face
