The calm before the storm

"Dan!" Phil shouted as he peered his head round his bedroom door "I'm making pancakes, want some?"
"Do you even have to ask?!" Dan screeched looking offended that phil didn't know he would want some. "I'll help make them" Dan offered but it sounded more like a statement. They walked to the kitchen in a comfortable silence with Dans heart skipping a beat every time Phils hand brushed against his, little did he know Phils heart skipped a beat as well. They got to the kitchen and started making pancakes, being the worst pancake flipper in the world Phil attempts to flip the fist pancake and gets it stuck to the ceiling. In between his fits of laughter Dan makes his way over to Phil and takes the pan off of him and begins his own pancakes to show Phil how it's done. "Dan, please flip the pancake"
"Okie"
As dan flips his pancake perfectly Phils finally detaches from the ceiling and lands on Phils head sliding slightly and covering his bright yet icy blue eyes. In the midst of all the laughter they both forget about Dans pancake....that is until they smell it burning.

After their pancake catastroph(il)e they settle for some Starbucks coffee instead. On the way to Starbucks they talk about nothing and everything at the same time, they enter the Starbucks and see that it's empty and the only other people there are Troye and Louise who is working behind the counter. "Hey can we have two cinnamon lattes please" asks Phil giving Louise a polite smile and going to sit with Dan who has joined Troye and is laughing along to a joke that is unknown to phil. After a long time spent with Troye at Starbucks they go their separate ways and Dan and Phil walk home in silence, but when they arrive back to the apartment Dan go straight to his room muttering a small "I'm tired I'll cya later" to phil.

That was three weeks ago and Dan hasn't been the same since....he's been distant and cold to Phil,so distant that Phil hasn't even spent enough time with him to see his chocolate brown eyes and they way they sparkle when he laughs or the way his dimples show every time he smiles. He just wants his Dan back and to do that he needs to know what's wrong.
