Hey right this is my first ever story to write on here, I hope you enjoy it, it's only 3 pages long so far but it's taken me like 2 hours to type it, I've got it all written down in my notebook so I'll update it later on. Thanks :)
I knew I was in trouble when I got that look. Mother rarely gave me that look, only about twice when I was younger but lately I've been seeing more often. I feel like she doesn't know me any more, like she doesn't want me to grow up, wants me to stay being her little girl forever. I'm nearly 15 what does she think she's doing telling me who I can and can't be friends with? Regardless of whether they are a boy or a girl! It started when Jack came to our school and I changed so much, at the time I felt invincible and was having the time of my life.
* * * * * * * * 3 months earlier * * * * * * * *
Start of a new school year, year 10. I walked around near my form room as usual, saw Jade and Ash and ran over to them as if I hadn't seen them at all during the holidays, when in reality I was with them practically every day. That summer had been pretty shit, didn't go on holiday with mum or dad, stayed home during the day and slept at Ashy's or Jade's most nights.
Ash was all excited and flustered as she had something she thought important to tell us. A new boy would be starting our school! This wouldn't be such a big thing in a ordinary school, I go to an all girls school so this was a bit of a shock. A million things flew around my head, I wondered how it would work having 1 boy in with over a thousand girls. As usual it was spread around the teenagers of our town pretty quickly, Ash heard it from Chloe, who's aunt is going to be a new teacher at the school and it's her son that's joining. So Chloe's cousin was coming! Jade had spent some time at Chloe's during the summer and he had been round a couple time, Jade said he is the most beautiful boy you will ever set your eyes on. I was so excited! I didn't care if he was being taught the house that the school was letting out to Chloe's aunt, I would find a way to get to know him.
I wasn't the only one either. At lunch and break all everyone was talking about was the arrival of Jack - at least I knew his name, others were calling him "New boy" - and how they were all going to be getting in with him, even the year 7's were talking about him.
We were just sitting there in form and Chloe's aunt walked in, turned out she would be our new form teacher whilst Miss Latisha was on maternity leave. Miss Fayre started the introductions and the whole "New school year, new start" for the bad kids and the "Keep up the good work" speech for the good girls. After she'd finished talking I turned to Ash and Jade and asked them what they thought of Miss Fayre so far, Ash liked her, Jade wasn't so sure and I had no problem with her.
It was towards the end of the day that I saw Jack, he was walking with Chloe towards Miss Fayre's house, so to introduce myself to him I ran over and talked to Chloe about how bad it was that we got homework on the first day back. Just as I was starting to think he wasn't going to talk he piped up and said "Well, hello, excuse Chloe she never shuts up, I'm Jack and you are?..." I laughed at his remark about Chloe and replied "Rea, It's nice to meet you Jack, there's been so much talk about you coming to our school, the infamous Jack Fayre, only boy in an all girls school. How do you feel about that?" I held my hand up to his face in a mock microphone style, he just laughed and said "Hmm it's exciting I guess, there's lots I could get up to" Then he winked and smiled at me, the wink melted my insides and I felt my knees going week, the smile just topped it off and had me speechless. But before I could have even attempted to say anything, Miss Fayre intervened and said slightly annoyed "We'll be having none of that behaviour again Jack, considering you'll be staying in my house and won't be let out of my sight" Then she dragged him off to her house, leaving me and Chloe stood there.
We made our way to the bus stop and someting was on my mind, so I asked Chloe. "What did your aunty mean when she said 'We'll be having none of that behaviour again?" "Well at his last school, it was a mixed one and he got lead astray by his so called 'Friends', He smoked weed, did Heroin, had piss ups every weekend and definatly wasn't shy in front of girls, fucking a different one at every party, my aunt seems to think that putting him in with all girls would get him straight and that will no boys around influencing his desicions he will sort himself out." Was the unexpected relpy, I told her "I don't mean to make you feel awkward or anything but I can see why girls were throwing themselves at him, he's beautiful!"
