This piece of writing is inspired by a k-drama "A-teen."
It's a letter from 21 years old me to 18-year-old me.
-------------------
The memorable day everyone had to spend once in life.
18. We feel and experience our first in every field of being individual, of living an inexperienced opportunity for the first time. We hold hands of hope whenever we step in something new and tries to do it in our very own way.
We feel being so adult and try to take the decision of our own but somewhere we know there is much possibility of our failure instead we try to take the risk as it seems very exciting to us we give our whole self to something we want to achieve.
But 18 is also a stage where every single happening or event gives the long-lasting impression which keeps haunting. We also remember the old scar often. Sometimes we see them as terribly huge that we can't survive. It kept suffocating us time to time to time same as waves at sea, it kept occurring from time to time.
Many times we observe our point of view doesn't matches with our parent's daughters with mother and sons with father. Our parents are our good wishers for sure but they too have a life beside us their own. They try to give each of their kid proper facilities to live but at the end, they result in doing partiality, we feel as we are betrayed, separated and burdened by many duties as we are eldest among siblings.
We realise at 18 what we want to do for our future and what we can do with our abilities and capabilities.
We try to have a normal day every day but ends up messing each and every single day in some or other way.
18. A-TEEN. TEENAGE. TEENAGER. These words mean a lot for us, it's what we want to live as "TEEN-STAR" "ROCKSTAR" AND "STAR". Even the same in uncountable still shining if not for others for our own self.
