Welcome to my high-school, to Dukes Everidge And Thorne High-School (if you haven’t noticed, that spelled ‘DEATHS’)—where teachers are malignant narcissistic sadists, cafeteria food have moving unknown objects that resemble tentacles served in them (the school claims questionable health benefits), and bullying shit heads can do worse crap to you than you can imagine.
Despite all that though, we’re still all happy little bastards by the end of the day. The new kids, though…well, ain’t so lucky if they act too cocky too fast. They’ll be lucky to even get a clique if loads of people already hate them.
Me? My name’s Chance Richard A. Peters, and I study in this (self-proclaimed) most prestigious high-school for magicians.
Yep, magicians… and, yes, my initials do sadly spell out ‘CRAP’. Let’s pretend you never noticed and just call me Chance.
