The emptiness this room held was unbearable. It was so plain and it felt so open. It didn't have much of anything within the room. A single chair sat lonesome in the corner. A few papers and crayons on the floor. The walls were white but the paint was chipping. The silence could pierce the mind of anyone who stayed there for too long. It was a seemingly calm place but could probably drive anyone to insanity. Unfortunately it was where these two young males ended up waking.

"Stop crying, it's okay."

"But I'm sc-scared."

"I know you are, I am too."

"Where are we? How did we get here?" one of the boys asked frantically.

"I'm not sure. I have no memory." said the other.

They got quiet once again. The more frantic one clung to the calmer boy. He was scared, he had never felt more in danger before. It was like his heart was beating in his throat, and like the butterflies turned into vicious rats that ate at the insides of his stomach. All he wanted was to go back home.

"Shush." the calm boy said as he pet the other boys hair. "It'll be okay, we'll get out of here soon."

"But the door is locked from the outside. We can't break it down, it's metal. There's no windows-"

"Stop it. We'll get out of here."

The reassurance from the serene boy didn't help very much. So he began to hum quietly while stroking the others head. After all, he wasn't sure what else to do. He just wanted to break the silence and calm his friend down. It helped in a way because the other males cries began to slow and quiet themselves at the hums.

"I hope to leave soon, and I hope we aren't far from home." the sniffling boy croaked.

"Yeah I do too," said the hummer, "and I hope to see the others soon. We can all have fun and eat kimchi fried rice."

"Yeah, that sounds good right now,, and soybean paste soup."

"Ah, yes. Honestly, any food right now would probably taste good to me. I'm so hungry."

"So am I.." he said quietly, "do you think that..do you think that the others know we're gone?"

"What? Of course they know. We're everything to them you know that. We all love each other."

"Do you think they're looking for us?"

"I-I don't know."

They got quiet again. The humming stopped. Even the cries stopped. Instead they just sat there wrapped up in each other.

"Hey, Minghao?" the distraught boy addressed after a few moments had passed.

"Yes Jun?" the calmer one replied.

"Can you hum again? It was nice."

Minghao smiled at him, "Of course."
