My Unwanted Alpha Mate

Chapter 13

Bella's POV:  I looked across the room only to see shock and some fear. 

I did the only thing I knew was the safest TO do.

I ran.

Screams calling my name were coming left and right. Luckily the front door was not locked so I quickly dashed out. Now that they know what I am, I don't have to hold back on my running anymore. 

"Is it for real this time?"

"yes but don't take over. No offense but if Sebastian comes after us, he could change your mind easier."

"Okay."

I felt her drifting to the back of my mind knowing she'd of course be in pain. But this was the best for the both of us. Now that they knew that we were an Alpha, Vladimir could find us faster.

Two howls erupted from the house and I assumed they were Cameron and Sebastian. 

I smirked knowing  that neither of them would be able to catch me. Sebastian had a small chance but based  on how long I've been running and how much more experience I had, he wouldn't. Two wolves that were probably Sebastian and Cameron were about ten feet behind me. Not letting her take over, I also decided to change into my wolf. They stopped for a second to admire my coat but I ventured on into the forest. 

My paws dug into the ground as I made turns to get them to lose me. Even though they were far, they were still on my track so I decided to make a sharp turn to the left knowing there would be a small lake there, and different pack territory.

Once I knew I was far from them, I let her take over. 

She ran for hundreds of miles and knowing her, she was going to one of the safe houses. Normally I have stacks of cash and weapons for times like this. 

It seemed to be about another half hour but we both enjoyed the run and swam multiple times to make sure they couldn't ever find us again.  In this one pond, we stopped to take a drink when we looked up to see the most precious sight. A dear was feeding it's child. 

A wolf grin took place on our face and we continued. 

"Alpha!"

I heard someone who seems to be a beta, and quickly changed to my human form and climbed the nearest tree. 

I saw the man with white hair that was the beta walking to a brown wolf with red eyes. He then changed back.

"What is it Demetrius?" 

"We just got a message from Alpha Sebastian you won't believe!"

Even though he seemed older, he sure had a little kid in him.  The Alpha looked amused. 

"Go on, old friend." 

"He found his mate"

My eyes widened. He wouldn't...

"And?..."

"It's the phantom, she ran away. He's called a search for her."
