Author pov

Standing at her grave while crying his heart out ,He lost her in a blink of an eye,He fell on his knees slamming his fist on the grave and yelled

"Levi...Please stop" Hanji tried to get him off her grave ,It was something impossible to see humanity strongest crying miserably like that

"I..Promised to protect her ....at any cost ...We made promises with this finger (Pinky finger) ...I should have brought her from the underground earlier than this ...I could have saved her ....why would I forget about her.....how could I" He shouted as his tears kept streaming down his cheeks

"She was everything I had in this world....I am the one who should have died not her ...This is all my fault...Back then I would rarely notice anything about her........She hated when she was ignored....I betrayed her....I broke our promises......I destroyed every beautiful thing in our life" Hanji Couldn't see her friend like that ,It pained her that the stoic emotionless levi is crying loudly like that, crying in agony and regret. Hanji hugs him tightly while rubbing her hands on his back

"Calm down ...She's in a better place now ... see you like that Levi" Hanji whispered soothingly in his ears

Finally Levi calmed down and stood up,He looked horrible,The eye bags under his eyes were much visible after he cried ,His eyes became dull out of hope and life ,His hands were in tight fist ,His mind and heart ached ,He was gritting on his teeth so he could prevent his tears ,He walked silently to the cart as hanji followed,Once they sat Hanji immediately hurried to hug him

Mikasa POV

I was running away from those 3 men who just killed my parents ,They didn't hesitate at all to kill them ,They were going to sell me in the black market

I ran into a dark place ,It didn't have sunlight in it, I ran more faster, breathing heavily,I'm scared  "Someone help me!"

Suddenly I bumped into a wall but when I looked up it was an ugly fat man , I quickly backed away from him But he held my arms tightly

"Leave me!!" I yelled in pain as he walks dragging me somewhere

"Leave her alone" A deep manly voice said calmly

"And what if I don't?" He said in a mocking tone

"Well I don't think you won't" in swift movements came in front of his face slicing his arm even. I stopped crying and looked at him ,amazed by his speed.

That man left me and ran away,The one who saved me came and kneeled down

"Brat ,What are you doing here alone..?" His voice was cold yet gentle ,I remembered again the scene of my parents and tears find their way back to my eyes ,I looked at him and He was baffled so much that he furrowed his eyebrows
