Chapter 2

As the confused eyes stared at me I shrank into my seat.

"Uh, yeah. I'm the mayor's daughter..."

Ashley, who was driving, had turned around when I said that and wasn't paying attention to the road. By the time I looked up and saw the truck coming towards us it was too late. We got flung off the road and rolled into a ditch...

-Andy's POV-

I felt a sharp pain in my side but my eyes were too weary to open. I finally managed to fully open them and the first thing i noticed was that i was upside down.

"WOAH!!! What happened?!"

I tried to turn around but my seat belt wouldn't allow it, I reached around and clicked the button and got flung to the floor. Ashley, Jake, and Jinxx were okay; they were standing outside wondering what happened to us with worried looks on their faces.

Wait a minute, where's Sandra?

I spotted her on the two seater knocked unconcious. I quickly ran to her and swung her over my shoulder and forced my way out of the car, I had to make sure she was ok.

Jake's face lit up when he saw me come out, but one glance at Sandra and his face instantly fell. "What happened?" He asked.

I looked up at him, "I'm not sure, she must have hit her head when we fell into the ditch."

Jinxx slowly did a head count. Then with a confused face he said, "Wait, Andy, aren't we forgetting someone?"

I slowly backtracked my mind to the last memory in the van, "Ah, FUCK. Raven!!!"

I ran back to the van as fast as I could, if anything happened to the mayor's daughter the mayor would kill me.

I saw her starting to wake up on the floor (well, the roof if you want to be technical.) and quickly ran to her side.

"Raven, are you okay?!"

She winced but said, "Yeah, I'm fine. I just scratched my arm on some glass."

"C'mon, I'll help you get out of this van.."

I stooped down and scooped her up in my arms, then I carried her out to where the others were waiting. When everyone saw that Raven was okay, they instantly relaxed. Except for Jake, he was sitting beside Sandra, waiting for her to wake up.

When Raven saw Sandra on the ground she started crying, "It's all my fault. if I hadn't distracted Ashley about me being the mayor's daughter Sandra wouldn't be unconcious."

Ashley tensed. "Don't blame yourself! It's more my fault, than yours. I should have paid attention to what I was doing, I was the one driving."

I stood up and walked over to Sandra to feel her pulse.

"Its neither of your faults. She's not dead, she'll be fine. We should probably take her to a hospital though, but in the meantime stop blaming yourselves. It was bound to happen to us sometime with all of the dangerous things we do. But we can't blame ourselves for this, we just have to do the right thing and help her get to the hospital. Raven if you want to call your sister for that ride you can."

-Raven's POV-

I was thinking about what Andy had said earlier. 'Darling, you die a little every second. On this world, everything will kill you..'

"Raven, RAVEN!!" Andy shouted into my ear.

"Wh-what?" i asked.

"If you want to call your sister for that ride you can, we're about 3 streets from your house."

"Oh hell, no. I want to make sure Sandra's ok." I said with a fiery tone.

His face softened when he noticed that I wouldn't take no for an answer. "Alright, but the hospital's a long walk from here.."

"I'll deal."

-1 hour later, still Raven's POV-

When we finally arrived at the hospital the staff instantly took her to a testing room to see if she would be okay. While we waited for an answer. My eyes started to droop, then Ashley put a cup of coffee in front of me and gave me a solemn half smile. After I took a sip I glanced at the clock. It was 4:35 am. My dad was going to kill me..

Finally, a nurse came around the corner to the waiting room.

"She's going to be ok, she might be unconcious still for at least 2 more days. But after that we are pretty sure she will be fine." The nurse said.

She then glanced at the long cut on my arm that was still bleeding. "Would you like me to disinfect that for you?" She asked, raising her eyebrows.

I glanced down at my arm in confusion, "Oh yeah sorry."

"What happened to cause this?"

"Uh, we got in a car crash and my arm got knocked against a shard of glass."

"Oh, well lets go wrap it..."

I didn't hear anything else the nurse was droning on about. I was just extremely glad that Sandra would be okay....

Blah I don't think this chapter was that great :/ i was trying to rush cuz i know that i haven't written the next part in aggees. but tell me what you think :] the next chapter will be up possibly next week. I just started school so its kinda hard to write with all the stupid homework :/
