The New Guest

💜CARLY'S P.O.V💜
Well, Spencer has to get stitches in his left arm, he broke his right leg in three places and needs surgery, and he broke two ribs, one on each side.

He's going to be in the hospital for awhile.

They have to install a plate in his leg to help it heal.

A half hour later, Spencer was awake and ready for visitors.

I walked in. Slowly. I was afraid of what I might see.

But Spencer was fine.

His arm was propped up on a table. It had been cleaned, it wasn't bloody anymore. His leg was also propped up. It was in a cast. The cast was blue, Spencer's favorite.

"Hey," Spencer said. His voice was weak. "Hey," I replied. "Listen," Spencer said. "I'm sorry. I shouldn't have gone up on the ceiling. I was getting some awesome pics of my sculptures from up there. But, seeing me now, it was pretty dangerous."

I shook my head. "But that doesn't matter," I said. "At least you're okay." Spencer nodded. "Yeah," he said. He closed his eyes.

I decided to let him rest. "Bye," I whispered. Then I left.

Mrs. Benson took me home. She told me to stay with her and Freddie in their apartment until Spencer was better.

"Thanks, but its okay. I'm fine on my-" I began. But Mrs. Benson cut me off. "Carly, I can't allow you to stay in that apartment without a guardian," she said.

And that was that.

Freddie was surprised to see me walking into his apartment.

"Hi," I said awkwardly.

💚FREDDIE'S P.O.V💚

"Hi."

I was surprised to see Carly standing in my doorway.

"Hi," I replied.

"Freddie, Carly is staying with us until Spencer comes home from the hospital," Mom said. "Carly, are you hungry?"

When it comes to injuries, my mom gets serious. But other times, she's just annoying. I could see Carly was surprised, too.

"Um, sure," Carly said. Mom handed her a Subway sandwich.

We get Subway a lot, and I'm getting sick of it. Mom had just cut off the parts I'd bit off of on the rest of my sandwich. But I wasn't about to tell Carly that.

She bit into it. Mom pushed her to the couch, next to me. I scooted over, the other direction, to, y'know, give her some room.
