Alex and James had the idea of doing a live podcast for a special occasion. It was just the thought of one of them slipping up and saying something they'd otherwise have the ability to cut out being completely not an option scared Alex. Except, they'd already held themselves to it and here the day to go live on Twitch on their freshly created account was. They'd set it up under the true name of their show, "The Camp Cast" and suddenly the stream approached them apprehensively—especially for Alex.
Setting up the equipment was done quickly, and before they knew it, they were live."Hello guys, welcome to the live setup we promised you guys. We're gonna try our best to stay in line and interact with you guys today for our twenty-fifth episode."
"Episode 25. Wow. And they said we'd never surpass two episodes." James smirked at Alex, eyeing the camera and just overall trying to be entertaining.
"Specify who, like, in your head 'they' are. Who are 'they'? The ones who said we wouldn't make it." Alex said in an attempt to run the joke dry.
"'They' would be the fans who've been here to see you fail all the other podcasts, Alex, I'd suppose."
"I did do that, you're right."
They would continue to feed off of each other about how they were shocked that Alex had committed to this for such a long run for like ten minutes, and then get off topic by the fans in the chat bar bombarding them with stuff along the lines of "Q/A NOW PLEASE" and Alex, running out of things to say now decided that now was a perfect time.
The people watching the stream would ask questions and then answer them, mostly being questions relating to Memeulous and when his face reveal was. In fact, they'd got hooked on the topic of Memeulous for a bit."I really do know that if and when he'd do a face reveal, he would only skyrocket in views and subscribers. Everybody wants an official face reveal. And I've seen his face. He doesn't have anything to be ashamed about." James further elaborated on the topic.
"He has told me he's really not embarrassed of how he looks. It's more of a privacy thing, really. I wish I could have done that sometimes." Alex says.
"Privacy is really important, yeah. But he can still maintain a proper private life and internet career if he does it the correct way."
"What's the correct way, then? This can be your segment of The James Marriott show instead of The Jeremy Kyle show." James laughed at that remark but kept his mind on track.
"I dunno, maybe just fucking commenting on a video and never talk about your personal life. Simple really. You do that. Nobody knows much about you right now. Because you're doing it the correct way. You're allowed to broadcast yourself in any way you feel is proper on YouTube. I feel that when he does a face reveal he'll grow so much not only as a creator, but as a person, Alex."
"Now that's a fucking quote, guys. That is going on YouTube right now as we speak. James Marriott being inspiring for thirty seconds straight." He snickered out, making a wide eyed comedic expression into the camera similar to the way they did in the TV show The Office.
Now they were well going on fifty minutes into the fling they decided to ask the viewers to send in fake quotes, because of the new comment Alex had just made sparked interest in this new topic they were wanting to talk about.
James read a few off as did Alex, while they'd laugh at the ones that were complete and utter bollocks. Finally Alex saw one that made him feel weird for some reason. He decided to read it aloud to make it less weird in his head once it was out of his thoughts and now into thin air, recorded and left online.
"Trainnumber9large—old meme, innit?" he laughed, "...says 'If you live with a roommate, you must sleep with that roommate.' and he followed that up by saying that it was a quote by—fucking Albert Einstein." Alex laughed out hard at the person the quote was jokingly from. Albert Einstein. As if a scientific genius was that shallow.
