tw: depressionalex was depressed lately. he missed having a relationship. he missed being held and kissed and he missed giving another person satisfaction all the time. he missed getting random texts about how much they missed him.
and fraser was starting to notice how sad alex was lately. so he kept to himself and was going to go talk to him later on when george wasn't around. he didn't want his other friend to trade him for wanting to help alex. he wasn't into being called anything rude by george for being 'soft', especially to alex, even though it would all be in the name of good fun.
he was there hanging out with george to be showed the spider man game for the ps4, but now george was in bed. george said fraser was welcome to stay and play the game as long as he wanted and he was going to take that offer up. he played the game for maybe an hour and a half before he felt his eyes ache from staring at nothing at the television for hours now. even before he had a hand at the game, he watched and observed george playing it for hours and this only worsened it. he huffed as he pushed his glasses up to rest on his head, rubbing his eyes with his palms. he hated when his eyes fucked up. it sucked.
suddenly he heard the sound of the cabinet being opened and a plate being removed from it. he stood up from the couch and walked over to alex, as it was him, quietly. he wanted to scare him.
approaching him, he lunged his arms at his back and that caused alex to gasp hard.
"fuck! what'd you do that for, fraser?! y'scared me to death!"
fraser laughed at him softly, "i'm sorry mate. just wanted to fuck with you a bit." fraser rubbed his shoulder in consolation.
"god! what are you doing here still? george is in bed."
"so? i figured you would wanna talk or something, y'know. we haven't sat down and had a nice chat in a bit." fraser smiled at him, taking a seat at the kitchen table.
"okay," alex blushed a little, turning his head so fraser couldn't see it. of course fraser has seen it anyway, and he thought it was extremely adorable.
"y'cooking something?"
"mhm. just gonna heat up some my leftover chicken sandwich from earlier. 'n i know you're vegan but do you want somethin? i could cook you something to eat. i make some mean beans," alex tried to say comedically and fraser laughed at the ironic joke.
"fuck you, alex. i don't care if you eat. you do you, babe."
alex's cheeks heated up again as he heard fraser call him by that nickname. he didn't know why fraser was being so nice to him but he didn't want it to stop.
"what?" asked the boy sitting down, because he wanted to know why that name made him so flustered.
"nuffing," alex sighed, popping his plate into the microwave as he had already gotten the sandwich out of the wrapper and onto the plate again. "i just don't know why you're being so sweet to me."
"that's gay," fraser chuckled, "i'll take it." alex laughed too,
"anyway, i know you're down about something and i want to help."
"you can't help me out with me being single."
"is that all? i figured you were in your head again about stupid shit that never mattered."
"yeah, that's all." he replied as the microwave went off. he got his food out and sat across from fraser.
"how do you manage a good self image and still be single?"
