Today's weather is still hot. I woke up at 9 and the sun is already on its peak. I took a bath immediately to freshen up.
Even after taking a bath, I couldn't feel the moistly fresh feeling on my body anymore because it dissipate already! The heat is crazy and lingering, my throat feels dry. It'll be refreshing if I could eat something sweet and extra chilly right now...
Still in my bathrobe, rubbing my wet hair with small towel, I turned to the kitchen. I remember placing several cups of yoghurt into the freezer. Some with fruity flavors, mango, pineapple--because my boyfie Sanggyun loves it so much. He is obsessed with tropical fruits.
I was rumbling over the frozen food packages that seems to occupy most of the freezer's space, when I felt a pair of arm sneaking to my waist.
I could feel his warmth to my nape as soon as he's backhugging me, leaning his chin to my shoulder.
"Ugh, Gyun-ah..." I wriggled trying to get out of his hold, not to disrespect his physical affection but it's just too hot to cuddle right now when I'm trying to chill myself.
Of course, a stubborn man he is, just tightening his arm and even pull me closer.
"Aha! Found it!" I grabbed the pineapple yoghurt which is frozen now
"What're you doing, babe?" He ask with that raspy voice and I could imagine he was talking with his eyes closed. Cute~
"Honey, you should reorganize the fridge, it's too stuffy in there" didnt answer his question there. Instead, I pat his hands on my stomach, gesturing him to move a bit so I could grab a spoon.
"Nnggg wher're you going??" Now him whining in his raspy voice... I couldn't help but chuckling.
"Get me that spoon, please, hon" I reach over pointing and soon he's taking the spoon without letting go of his other arm on my waist.
When he gave me the spoon, he turned me around so we are now face to face. I was ready to open the yoghurt cup, but then stopped when he caress my wet hair and fix a strand to the back of my ear. I look at his face, still a bit dreamy with disheveled hair. Gosh, now I am thanking the weather for the man in front of me not wearing any shirt, just his pajama shorts. Topless boyfriend in the morning, huh?
"Like what you see?" He smirks devilishly, and that point I realize I'm biting my spoon while looking at him.
"Why is it so hot today?" I looked away, paying fake concentration to my yoghurt cup. He laughed and again, circling his arms to the small of my back, pulling me closer *again
"Did you say I'm hot?" I know he's fully awake now, always teasing me with that kind of confidence.
"Mmmm~ so fresh.. try this" intentionally ignoring his question, I turned the spoon toward him to feed some of the yoghurt. When he opened his mouth, I pulled back and put it to my mouth.
"Waahh.. so delicious" I exaggerate a bit, contain my laugh as he pierce me with that fake annoyed gaze.
Silly me, I forgot held me in his arms that he started to tickle my back. I tried to hold the ticklish feeling, squirming left and right, but failed and ended up we both laughing.
"Don't tease me, babe, it' still morning"
"You started first"
"So you're not gonna give me a bite?" He whined again.
"No"
He scrunch his nose and I giggle seeing him getting annoyed for real. I keep on eating that yoghurt but at the third spoon he distract me, lean over and showers kisses to my cheeks.
I cant hold my laughter anymore and trying to shove him away.
"Give me a bite" he mumbled between the kisses which now moving further down to my neck
"Aniya~" I hope my trembling voice isn't too pronounced, but I know he'd catch it. In my mind, I tried my best to push him away, but my body seem to disagree, when I find one of my hand clutching tight on his chest.
He look up, his eyes met mine. I bit my lips and lean closer to him, meeting his lips halfway. We kissed slow and languidly. I dont even realize when he grab that yoghurt cup because now my hands are free and I can warp my arms around his neck, fingers playing with his hair.
Few minutes spent on sweet kisses, we part to catch our breaths, and for real I feel the air around us is getting hotter. He smiled, which made me mirror the same action.
"Good morning, sunshine" he said. This time with different tone of his voice, no longer hoarse but deeper. And sweet.
I'm gazing lovingly to his eyes which radiate the same intensity of affections. I cant help to give his lips another peck. Once. Oh, maybe one more.
"I love you" he mumbled through the kiss. I answered with a hum and hug him. Nozzling my nose to his neck.
"Honey.." I said. He replied with another hum.
"Give me back my yoghurt" I see that abandoned cup poorly on the table. I can reach it but just lazy. And I still want to tease him.
He pull away from the hug and took the cup, as I reach out to it, he pulled back and stretches his arm high. Intentionally so that I cant grab it. Wow, this boyfriend!
"Honeeeyyy~"
"Say you love me back"
"No, give it to me first!" He kept hi hands above as I tried to tiptoe
"Na-ah babe, say you love me"
"Not a chance!"
"Okay, then marry me."
"N- what?" I stop tiptoe-ing as I think I heard unusual phrase there
"Marry me" he said once again.
I freeze. Looking into his eyes. Seeking through it to assure myself of what I just heard.
My boyfriend, Kim Sanggyun, who's afraid of commitment at first before I convinced him that I'm also taking everything slow... Kim Sanggyun, who once said he didn't have thoughts on marriage anymore when we just spent a day taking care of my nephews... That Kim Sanggyun who love his bachelor life more than anything, just asked me to marry him?
"Don't kidding me, Gyun-ah"
"I'm not." he put the yoghurt back to the table and hold my hands. "Marry me, Eunyong-ah..."
I still wearing my blank face, staring back and forth to our intertwined fingers and to his face.. with his beautiful sharp eyes staring at me softly...
"So?" He's asking one more time. This time pulling our hands to his lips
"Are you going to marry me or you choose the yoghurt?" He said with the silliest grin.
I can't help but laughing, and at the same I felt tears pooling on the corner of my eyes.
"Marry me and buy me dozens of those yoghurt" I finally answered.
So, that was how we go through one morning during the summer... Bickering about yoghurt and ended up getting married (^^ゞ

Okay so I failed at the ending (or maybe the whole part). I spent too much time cus I write this directly on my phone without making a draft first... I feel I spent too much time and ended up didn't get a good idea to wrap it up.
I had a more steamy scene on my head but cant really pour that out into proper words *feel cringy so it turned out to be fluffier, I guess??
Hahaha anywaayyy...
