"What is your future concept of a husband?" asked Sarah on a bright sunny day.

They were lazing about in the fields, talking about anything and everything that mattered in the world. The day was dragging and they had nothing better to do than to talk about their future.

" Who wants to get married anyway?" asked Tracy.

" I want a home, where I can sit and write as much as I want, A home with only Ethan and Mabel," said Tracy dreamily.

" Can you tell me more about your life?". asked Sarah, She always loved listening to Tracy's sibling's stories, Though she had never met them in her lives.

Tracy thought, "She has been my best friend for two years! She does deserve to know how fucked up I am", and she gave a sigh

MANY YEARS BACK

Rosalyn and James were a typical happy couple till it happened. At first, no one ever noticed but with passing years James was hardly home, and Rosalie had the hard-pressed duty to take care of the kids financially, and emotionally. She loved James too much that she actually was scared of their relationship falling apart.

Sometimes its better to leave than holding on to things because it hurts. But deep inside she felt that all this was just a phase of life and that it would change. They had two kids, and one on the way. Rosalyn was a shy village girl who was married by a billionaire who owned a clothes factory. He got married to her for the bewitching beauty, she had.

Over the years, the more she fell in love as in aphelia, his love was pure Erose. He loved her for her body, and as soon as she started to have her gray hairs, he jumped on to the next person.

One fine day, Rosalyn entered to see James all packed, she was shocked!

"Where are you going?" asked Rosalie meekly

" If you are THAT INTERESTED! then I am going to marry Lina, sign these papers and half the company belongs to you". said, John.

Rosalind's heart was shattered to millions of pieces. Without uttering a word she scribbled down her name and ran into the room.

Ethan and Mabel had not seen their mother for days since that incident. Eventually, the day came when she finally stepped out and yelled " IM IN LABOUR!".

Mabel and Ethan Rushed her to the hospital where Tracy was born.

From the time James left, Rosalyn had started to become moody and wrapped up. This was still the day she finally came out of the room, the mind when Ethan felt that she had finally changed. But he was sadly mistaken. Tracy and Ethan grew up together, Ethan had the responsibility to raise Tracy, after his elder sisters marriage.

Thus from Tracy's nappy changes to her first walk, first word, first toy, first dress was all saved and recorded by Ethan. He was her guardian angel, her mother, and father. He grounded her when necessary, hugged her when she needed it. Advanced like a best friend on all her decisions and protect her with humor when he felt things would fall apart.

He made jokes out of the worst situations to make it normal for her. He controlled his urge to die for her and he smiled just for her.

Their mother lost her cool so bad that she became a monster they never expected to be. Work came first. Each night she would bring in different men. Sometimes those men even tried to abuse Tracy, but Ethan? He spent his nights sleeplessly guarding and keeping a watch on his sis, thus making him an insomniac.

He hardly ate but made foodfor family. In a few years, Mabel came back home saying that her husband cheated on him, Ethan was then 17 and Mabel could care for the baby till she was 3 and then the baby was supposed to spend most of the time, at her fathers home, where she had a proper family. So thus it was Ethan, Tracy, and Mabel against the world.

PRESENT......

Sarah wiped her tears as she heard this story, she knew it was not just her who was suffering.
The name Ethan gave her butterflies in her stomach. She wanted to meet this person so much!
As they left Sarah saw a familiar face. His Hazel eyes struck her the most.
" Where have I seen him?? " she thought.
Then all of a sudden it strikes her!
THE WEDDING! THE DANG WEDDING!

All of a sudden Tracy ran to that guy and yelled ETHAAAAAAN!!!

Sarah stood there with her mouth wide open.

Tracy dragged Ethan and brought him in front of Sarah. Then she told him

Ethan meet Sarah my best buddy!

Ethan looked into Sarah's eyes, his hazel eyes trying to pierce into her soul.

He grinned and said, " I know"

Sarah stood staring at him trying to digest what she just saw.

'That guy was Ethan??? The guy she hoped she would never see was her crush?? Ethan!!!"

What happened at the wedding? Why did Sarah hate Ethan? How will be Tracy's reaction when she knows they had already met... All these would be answered in chapter 4
