Chapter 53: Erica's Acceptance & Forgiveness

Sonia: You have a visitor.

Erica: *walking to the living room* Who is... Jesus Christ. *Erica stopped in her tracks*

Man: Hello Mena.

Erica: Raul? What are you doing here?

Raul: Can we talk outside please?

Erica: Yea sure.

Sonia: Are you sure about this, Jasmine?

Erica: Yes ma'am. I'm fine. *walking out the door*

  As I was walking out the door I turned around and saw Cyn's face. She looked a little nervous cause she knows my history with Raul. I walked back over to her and gave her a passionate kiss. "I'm fine beautiful. I promise." I whispered in her ear. She nodded her head and I walked out the door to see what Raul wanted.

Erica: Hey Raul. What are you doing here?

Raul: Hey Mena, I know we have had our differences but I'm ready to put it behind us. I don't want any beef between us.

Erica: Why the change all of a sudden?

Raul: I don't know. One day you just wake up and start growing up. I would like to take you and your girl out to dinner. You can meet my girl too.

Erica: Sure and she's my wife.

Raul: My bad. Congrats you really look happy Mena.

Erica: I am. I'm also glad we can put the past behind us. Do you want to see King too?

Raul: I would love that.

Erica: Ok but to let you know he sometimes bring his sister everywhere he goes.

Raul: What sister?

Erica: You will see. We are about to pick them up when Jordin gets here. You gonna follow us there?

Raul: Yea that's cool. How is Jordin?

Erica: She's good and she just had a baby boy.

Raul: That's cool. I guess I'll wait in the car.

Erica: Why? You can wait in the house.

Raul: Your mom looks like she wants to beat the hell out of me.

Erica: *laughing* True but I'll talk to her. Come on.

*They walked back in and Sonia was looking at Raul like she was gonna kill him. Erica walked over to her so she would stop doing that.*

Erica: Mom. Stop looking at him like that. He came over to make peace not argue or fight.

Sonia: Yea we will see.

Erica: You are a mess you know that?

Sonia: Yes I know. Oh yea you better grabbed your wife.

Erica: What? Why?

Sonia: Cause she's like 3 seconds from killing her cousin. *pointing outside*

Erica: Damn it. *running to the backyard*

*Cyn was choking V and Jennifer was trying to pull her off of V. Erica could see how Jennifer was struggling. Erica told Jennifer to let Cyn go she got this. Jennifer let Cyn go and Cyn still was trying to kill her cousin.*

Erica: CYNTHIA MENA! HERE, NOW!

Cyn: *letting V go and standing in front of Erica*
