"Uugh, they're putting a lot of pressure on me, gosh" I told my best friend after turning the TV off

"I know, it's not like you're the only one competing. Can't they talk about Serena's return?"

"Exaclty"

"Hey, Amanda, don't be stressed, you'll do amaaazing.  And if you won't make it, that's perfectly fine, it's your first time it's not like the end of the world"

She was right. It's my first time and I have nothing to lose

Oh, I forgot to introduce myself. My name is Amanda Morgan, I'm 17 and I adore tennis. I started playing at 7 and since then I knew what u wanted to become. I worked hard and I've won a lot of tournaments and now I will play at Roland Garros and I'm so excited but also so freaking scared.

I also love football, I've grown up around this sport my dad also being a goalkeeper so I am madly in love with football, and the fact that the World Cup is around the corner it's just another reason to be happy .

"Hey, so do you want to go to the cinema or something ?" Sonya, my best friend asked me

"Oh, I would love to but I need to go train because I want to improve my serve" I responded

"Oh, okay it's fine. I understand, can I come see you train?"

"Yeees, would love that"

I went to change and called my coach Melinda to come and help me out.

"Try to put the ball more in front of her body than on the sides so when she'll return the shot, the ball is going go have a lower speed" Melinda explained to me as I continued to train

-After the training-

"Hey I'm ready, what's up?" I went to Sonya who was looking down smiling on her phone

"Oh my god, have you heard about Kylian Mbappe?" She looked up at me

"Um..no, who is he?"

"He's apparently a football player from the French squad and he's only 19. He will play at the world cup"

"19? Wow" it was impressing but I am 17 and in the wta professional circuit so..not a really big deal for me but yeah, tennis and football are not the same

"Please tell me we will go in Russia ! It's going to be crazy. Plus you always wanted to go to a world cup " she begged me

She is also a football fanatic, and she has a little crush on Lucas Hernandez

"Of course we'll go. I've been telling you that I'll be there since I found out where the world cup is going to be. And since I'm not going without you because I'm not 18 yet, you'll come with me "

"What a great time to be 3 years older than you"she started laughing

She is a 20 years old freak and I love her. Ever since I was 12 we would spend time together and she would help me at school and stay with me when my parents would be out of town.

I am such a big fan of football especially of the French team. I am really excited to go , but first I have to get done the French open and to win it ! Wish me luck!
