Misfortunate Love

Chapter 1: New begining

       The rain splashed against the concrete. Darkness filled the alleyways and roads as the only light can be seen was the ones above the road. Only few people still out this late some wannabe gangsters on the corner to prostitutes waiting for their next prey. A women running for her life as if it would end if she stopped. Her right hand was gripped around a small fragile wrist. The little girl winced at how tight her mother's grip was, she was hurt, confused, in pain but no matter what she told her mother it didn't matter her mother just gripped harder and ran faster. They had been running for almost 40 minutes now rain soaking through their clothes, the women stopped when they reached a small house. The house looked beaten up the windows were boarded up and the bricks walls were falling apart. Not to mention the neighborhood they had ran into was just as bad as it looked as if it was all run-down. The women looked around before opening the front gate and heading up to the porch of the home. Once they reached the door the women turned around and bent down to the little girl standing infront of her. She was scared she didn't know what was happening just a few hours ago she had been sleeping in the couch of their home when her mom had come and woken her up she had taken a bag and shoved clothes into it and before she knew it they were on a train for 2 hours and now they're here. The women looked down at her daughter she was soaked in water shivering. She still held tight onto her wrist as if she would disappear, with her left hand she brought it up to the little girl's cheek rubbing softly against a bruise that showed right below her cheek.

"I'm...so..sorry I promise I won't let.. him hurt you ever again..You will be safe here" The women began to cry she stared at her little girls big blue eyes seeing all the pain that was held in them.

"Mama..W-what do you... mean..I'm scared.. Mama your hurting me". The little girl looked down at her wrist she was in pain she was scared she couldn't help but cry

The women widened her eyes as she let go of her daughter seeing the light bruise she made along her wrist. "I know it's hard to understand now but this is the only way I can protect you"

"But..Mama" The little girl was shocked when she felt her mother grip both her shoulders pulling her closer to her. "LISTEN TO ME.. I cant I refuse to let him hurt you again..I won't let him find you." The women stood up letting go of her daughter and walked towards the door knocking on it. After a few minutes a woman came out.

"Oh my god Sireen you made it I was worried something had happened.. Does he.." The women spoke looking towards the young girl right away The mother looked towards her daughter clenching her teeth. "No he doesn't and he never will"

"I understand.." The women went back inside and came out with a folder in her hands and gave it to Sireen. "Thank you Stella.."As she grabbed the folder she bent down and wiped the small tears off her daughter's cheeks.

"Hey little peach dont cry...Listen Mama can't protect you baby, so you see this woman here her name is Stella she is gonna take care of you for now on and she's gonna make sure that man never touches you again". Maybe it was because how young she was or that she was freezing and in pain that she couldn't understand but she didn't want her mama to go she didn't want to live here she wants to be with her mama and no one else. The little girl grabbed onto her mothers jacket crying into her chest.

"Mama no I-I don't-want to I want to be with you I want to be with my mama" The little sobbed into her mothers chest. "No baby you can't..I can't" She pulled her daughters arms off her and pushed her towards Stella she started walking away trying to hold the tears begging to come out. Before she can take a step her little girl came running at her holding onto her legs.

"NO Mama don't leave me please Mama I need you..M-Mama Please!!" The little was crying her eyes out as Stella tried to grab her off her mother.
