I was startled awake by a pile of clothes being thrown at me by my oh so lovely sister "D wake up it's the first day you need to look your best" She yelled at me from our shared dorm closet while she was picking out her outfit "fine I am up" I yelled back at her as I started getting dressed in her chosen outfit for me before leaving the dorm room to avoid last minute outfit changes that I despise.

I met up the Bloom and the others while walking to our first class with Professor Wizgiz. "It's the first class of the year, a year full of great potential and limitless possibilities and that is what metamorphosis is all about. Metamorphosis is the art of changing how you appear, and once you master it, you can turn into anything from a rock to a rock star. Let me give you a little preview. Look at me now, an average elf, right? Look..." he stated while transforming into Griselda "...at me now!" a Griselda clone cries while standing with her hand on her hips while my classmate gasp in shock of see the change. "Don't worry, I'm not really the Queen of Detention." Griselda (Wizgiz) stated with a laugh as the class let out sigh of relieve "The beauty of magic is that you can always go back to being you" he tells us while transforming back to himself "But for now we'll start with the basics. We'll warm up with one of the simplest exercises: Changing your hair color. You should all be able to breeze through this one. Look in the mirror, focus your Winx and go. Try to change it." as mirrors appeared at on our desk. Stella and I giggled at our hair as it were the same shade of pink, we both looked over at Bloom when Wizgiz called her name "Bloom, it's a little early to fall behind. You have a lot of homework to do." When he noticed she couldn't get her hair to change colors.

Once classes were done for the day Stella and I were in Blooms room trying to help her with the metamorphosis "I was the only one who couldn't do it!" she cried out frustrated at herself "You'll get it! You just have to practice! After all, you know what they say, 'practice makes perfect'!" Stella told her as she sat next to her on her bed "Yeah, I can do this! It's like when I had to learn how to high jump back in Gardenia." Bloom stated getting some of her confidence back "That's the right attitude! And before you know it, you'll be growing fairy wings!" I cheered from my spot on the ground playing with Kiko "I sure hope so..." she tells me with some doubt in her tone "we know it! So, let's just give it another try. Let's try this! Think about the best hair day you've had. Think about how happy you were and use that to change your hair color." Stella told her as Bloom tried again "Ugh! Great! This is what I end up with?!" Bloom cried out as her bangs turned upwards "I'm just trying to help you, okay! You're a bigger project than I thought..." Stella told her while I sat there giggling until Bloom launched her pillow at me for laughing.

"You just have to take it day by day." Stella told bloom as we sat down for dinner in the dinning hall "I hope tomorrow is better." Bloom told her while taking the empty seat to my left "it will be" I told her just as Tecna said "Well, the learning curve for the first semester at our new school is quite steep, you know." But before we could say anything else Miss Faragonda began her announcement "Young ladies, your attention please. I have a very exciting announcement to make: As it is the Alfea tradition we'll kick off the new school year with a formal dance. Our back to school gala will take place tomorrow night and our special guests will be the boys from the Red Fountain School for Heroics and Bravery. We hope you'll be warm and friendly hostesses and make them feel right at home." "But not too friendly. Chaperones will be there, and love spells and crush potions are forbidden." Griselda chimed in "But dancing's encouraged, and the boys will bring surprise gifts for all, so I'm sure you'll have a lovely time. I remember my first dance at Alfea, I met my husband there, well anyway, it will be an evening full of enchantment." Miss Faragonda finished her speech with the cheers of the dinning hall for the fact of an evening of dressing up.
