Please, no harsh judgement. I'll take constructive criticism any time though. This is my first story so bare with me here. Anyways on with the story.

🔥Natsu's POV🔥

It was about 8PM at the guild hall. Me and Happy just came back from a week long mission. I kicked the door open than yelled, "I'm back!" I got some heys and other greetings from the guild members, but all the sudden I got punched in the face by ice freak. We started to fight and soon the whole guild joined.

---After the fight---

I noticed that Luce wasn't there so I went straight to the bar since Mira probably knew where she was.

"Hey Mira, where's Lucy?" I said.

She looked up with her hand on her chin thinking for a few seconds and looked back at me with her usual smile.

"Around 7 she said she was tired so she was gonna go home early" Mira said.

'Hmm, Lucy never goes home that early, unless she's sick' I thought. I started to get worried but I didn't want to show it to much.

I than asked, "Is she okay?"

"Yeah, but she's looked like she hasn't slept very well for the past few days" She said with a hint of worry in her voice.

All I responded with was "thanks Mira" and went straight to Lucy's apartment leaving Happy at the guild.

---At Lucy's apartment---

I knew she was asleep since her light was off. I wasn't surprised since it was almost 11 now. I figured her window was probably unlocked so I jumped to it and went straight in. Her smell hit me like a train. 'Vanilla and strawberries.' I sighed in content. That's when I saw her; her soft skin, her sparkling blonde hair, her beautiful pink lips. The moonlight coming from the window just made her more beautiful.

I've missed her so much since I left for the mission, though I know exactly why. I'm not as oblivious as everyone thinks I am. I know I love her. I've loved since I first saw her. I only act oblivious to it since she probably only sees me as her best friend.

I heard a sniffle and looked at Lucy. She had a tear going down her face. She's having a nightmare.

I laid down next to her, and pulled her into my arms gently to make sure she didn't wake up. I also took off my scarf and vest (??? I don't actually know what it's called with the one sleeve off thing) before laying down knowing she likes to use me as a personal heater. Its not my first time doing this. Almost immediately, she cuddled up to me wrapping her arms around me and burying her face into the crook of my neck with a sleepy smile.

I looked down at her and smiled. 'I wish it could always be like this... at least without her Lucy kicking me to the wall.'

I could feel her soft breathing on my neck and her lips lightly brushed against my scar. I started to pur since my dragon instincts loves her being this close to me.

"If you knew what you did to me," I whispered. I laid there for a while just enjoying cuddling with Luce. 'My Luce.' With that last thought, I fell asleep.

⭐Lucy's POV⭐ Around 6AM

I woke up hugging something. It was really warm and cozy so I got closer thinking it was a pillow. Then I heard light snores. I froze. 'Pillows don't snore!' My eyes shot open to... pink fluff? I saw I was laying on a chest and it clicked. I was cuddling with Natsu! 'How did we even get in this position!' I don't even need to ask how he got in since he probably went through the window since I forgot to lock it.
(Totally forgot😉)

I could feel heat going through my whole body. I was probably blushing from head to toe. I was ready to Lucy kick Natsu into Oblivion but I just realized how comfortable he is. Well actually, I always knew but I would never admit it out loud.

'It won't hurt to keep sleeping like this right?' I thought to myself. 'Wait! what am I thinking!? I know I like him, but he probably only sees me as his best friend.'

I was having an argument with myself for a good five minutes and just came to the the conclusion that I'll just stay here. 'He's asleep any ways. He won't even know I woke up.' I laid back on his chest, getting closer to him.

He started to move. I was afraid he was waking up so I close my eyes and tried to relax, which I did since he was warm. Not even a second later I heard him speak.

"Luce" Natsu said in a deep, sleepy voice. I started to mentally freak out while my body lay on top of him as if I was completely asleep.

He held my waste tighter while burying his face in my hair and purred a little bit. I thought it was really cute. After that he didn't move so he was probably sleep talking.

'Wait... Is he dreaming about me?' I to thought myself in total curiosity and confusion. I honestly don't know when I started to fall asleep, but right before I fell asleep, I heard him whisper, "I love you, Luce." I felt warm lips on my ear knowing he kissed it after saying the words I've wanted to hear from him since I met him, but I was too tired to freak out so I respond with the truth since I was barely awake.

"I love you too."

After saying that, I gave him a gentle kiss on his neck and fell asleep.
