"Come on Bella. Yes your different but look. your father doesn't kill anyone and i don't do as many spells as usual. you've been trained by your father just in case anything happens and look. we're fine. now go look around." i groaned. "Mom!" "Isabella Marie. listen to your mother. and you never know. there might be a surprise when you get home." i shot up. "A car?" my father chuckled. "You're 14. you can't drive yet." i was sad. "So my birthday is in December which makes me eligible for my permit which i'm clearly ready to take." "Go out and look around Beacon Hills. You never know what you'll find. and you gotta stop wearing black clothes." i went to protest but my dad gave me a knowing look. "Can i at least have some money to get something to drink?" he nodded. "We have to get some things in town so you'll come with us." i nodded and we left.

I wasn't really sure how i felt about this new town just yet. it was colder then the last place and i don't know anyone here. I got out of the smoothie place and bump into someone. i was bracing myself for impact only for it not to happen. i opened my eyes only to be met with a pair of blue eyes looking at me. "Whoa." i blushed and he turned me up right. "Are you ok?" i nodded. "yeah." i looked to see my smoothie splattered all over the place. "I'm sorry about your drink. let me buy you another one." i blushed. "That's kind of you. thank you." we went in and started talking and after we got our drinks we headed out and we were laughing when he started staring at me. "What?" he smiled. "How come i've never noticed you here before?" "Oh i practically just moved here. from New york but i was born in San Francisco and my family is from Australia." "SO that's where the accent is from. Australia?" i nodded. "what's up with your eyes. not that there's anything wrong with them it's just i've never seen anything like them before." i smiled. "It's something you don't see everyday. it's rare but it's not a disease or anything it's just a rare genetic thing. just like how people have the two different colored eyes." he smiled. i heard my name being called so i turned around. my mom was waving for me to come over so i looked at the boy in front of me and frowned. "I gotta go but maybe if i ever bump into someone again, i hope it's you." he smiled and i grabbed my drink and went to my mom. she was grinning. "So a boy." i looked at her. "Stop." "You're father is gonna kill you if he ever finds out about him. what's his name?" "I don't know." that made me sad
