"No, you totally didn't guess that because we have the same last name?" I reply
"Well, It was that and the fact your both from District 12. And you've been on TV quite a few times." He says casually
"Whatever 2," I scoff
"You know my name, Rowan."
The elevator finally dings and I get on franticlly pressing The 12 button before Cato gets on. The elevator doors were about close but Cato just walts on like he owns the place.
"So Rowan, What's your weapon of choice."
I hesitate "My mind, never picked up a weapon before."
Lie.
" I know your lying" he replys
Why haven't the elevator gone to his floor yet?
I go to press the button when he grabs my wrist and pulls it back gently.
"What the hell, 2!"
"You know my name, Rowan!"
I stay silent and press the 12 button and when we get to my floor I stomp off and I'm about to enter when I hear
"Bright and Early, Gorgeous."
The elevator closes leaving me frozen in place. Cato thinks I'm gorgeous.
I can't think like that, he could kill me in three seconds. I open the door and Immediately am yelled at by my mentors.
"What did you do?" Katniss asks
"Yea, Rowan explain why it took 15 minutes to ride the elevator to our floor." Peeta asks and stands next to Katniss.
"Well-I-" I start
"Rowan you can't play around here this is serious." she then hugs me and leans whispers in my ear "were on snows playground"
And I know what she means.

Atla is giving a speach, but I don't listen. Instead I'm busy glaring at tributes who aren't carrers. This morning we decided to go with confident,deadly, and likeable.
When Atla finishes her speach I walk over to the arrows. I feel all eyes on me. I have to remind myself I am Katniss Everdeens little sister do of course I have to be good with a bow.
First one I realise flies straight through the skull. The next to the neck. Third to the heart.
"I see your bow is your weapon of choice" I hear someone from behind me say. She has a 2 on her back so I assume she's Clove.
"And what's yours" I reply
"knives" she sneers
"Fabulous" I say sarcastically
She turns to go when another person joins me.
"Glimmer District 1" The girl tribute from District 1 tells me
"Rowan, 12"
"oh we all know that. Katniss' younger sister"
She's picks up a bow and misses.
"Ugh" she groans "Well that's all, later!" she quickly walks away
Before someone else can bother me I head over to the Spears. I'm ok at them I guess, never really tried or cared.
"Marvel" A tall brunnet says to me
"Excuse me," I honestly don't know why he's talking to me.
"That's my name, Marvel, District 1"
"I assume you know me" I mumble
" Of course I do your all Cato talks about"
what?!!
With that I walk away.
I work on hand to hand combat with dummies until I hear someone else join me.
"How's training, Angel" Cato says
I walk away at that too.
Suddenly I'm being pushed against a wall by someone and I hear others coming too.
Cato, Glimmer, Marvel, and Clove stare at me saying nothing. This is the Carrer Pack.
"What the hell do-"
"Shh" Cato says putting a finger to my lips "The big Kids are thinking"
"How old do you think I am" I blurt out
"I know your 15" Cato says rolling his eyes tightening his grip on me
"Actully I'm 17" Lie lie lie "So nice try"
"Your 15 what did I say about lying" he growls
"What do you want" I say
"You" Marvel speaks up "in the Carrers"
I'm not given much time to think "ok I'm in."
They let me go and it's time for lunch.
I sit at a table hoping No one sits with me but boy am I wrong.
"This seat taken" Glimmer chirps
"No" I sigh
There's a long silence before Clove blurts "Cato might be in love with you. Marvel loves Glimmer. But Glimmer can't know because he broke up with her older sister and--"
"Whoa what's wrong with you" I interrupt
"I had to get it off my chest" she says and runs off.
"I'll find her" Glimmer says
Cato and Marvel find there way over here "Oh, Lovely where's your friends" Cato sneers
"Well Clove just spilled all of Marvel's secrets and ran off and Glimmer went to follow her."
"Well Looks like it's just us 3 huh" Marvel says eyeing me up and down
"She's mine" Cato growls
"Since When, and who said" and turn to find the bathroom

"So your in the Carrers" Katniss asks slightly disappointed
"they're in love with me" I
pause "Some litterly"
"Cato" she Says
"huh"
"I can tell by the way he looks at you."
Yea our mentors watch us train from the balcony.
"And you like him back" she smirks
Peeta and Coal walk in and we eat dinner.
I get bored of hanging with the star crossed lovers and Coal.
"Roof" is all I say and I'm out the door
When I get to the roof I let my hair down. I can actually breath for once. For the first time in forever I'm alone.
Well I think I am until someone joins me.
"Stalking me now are we?" I ask
"Well I can't keep my eyes off you so I guess so." Cato says
We don't say anything and it's getting late.
"Goodnight Cato."
I turn to leave when his lips run straight into mine. I've never been kissed before so it's awkward. He pushes his body against mine leaving no space and when he brakes the kiss he just,holds me.
"Goodnight Beautiful"
He finally let's go and I walk back to my room thinking only 4 words.
Cato just kissed me!
