Chapter 6: All fun and games

Donald walked away, closing the door door behind him. And what do I have to bring? Nothing, absolutely nothing. I haven't worked a day this year, I was living with the most powerful man in the country, and was in his room.

I decided to get things done for once. I wanted to not only make Don relax, but impressed. I shiver at the thought of how lovely the night was going to be.

So I fix myself up, and start the day. I walk out the room, and out the white house for the first time in a couple weeks. I was shopping for the night.

I walk up to a kart that was selling roses, and bought about 2 bouquets to spread all over the bed. Then walked through a mall and bought scented candles for the mood.

As I know, Donald is always hungry before sleep, and so I go to the closest cake shop to buy some expensive cheesecake!

Frankly I don't like cheesecake as much, but I've noticed his likings for a while. There wasn't much left after that, some matches, candles, and socks for myself.

All of this came out of my money. I am actually middle class and don't get any pay from the whitehouse. I saved up this money for a long time.

I start to head back to the white house to get things ready, and by the time I was back, it had been almost 7pm. Shopping can takes more time than it feels. I walked back tobthe room, and started throwing petals all over the bed. I dont know why but it felt appropriate to smell each one.

Candles were lit, cake was cut, and petals were picked. Everything was ready, and with 5 minutes to spare. I sit on the bed, and realized I haven't eaten today. I felt bummed but it didn't matter when he would arrive.

I waited, and waited forever, until it had been 9 o'clock. I laid on the bed, and feel my pocket vibrate. A call from Donald, I answered..
'Hey (Y/N), Im sorry to say that I won't be able to make it tonight, I had a bit of work to do out of state. I am in a hotel and will be back tomorrow.'

I nodded.' Mmhhmm sounds great! Ill just be here tonight, waiting for you to come back.' I felt horrible.

'I knew you could do it. Anyways I wanna say that I love you, and goodnight!'. He hung up. I sat up to get ready for bed, and ate the cheesecake. It tasted especially good since I haven't eaten. I fell asleep with petals all around me. Dreaming he'll return....
