Zakkiyah Pov

The last day of college is here.
When returning from school she found a black Range Rover in front of her house. She was astonished and thinking for whom it was.

''Zakkiyah Zakkiyah... '' Yahya Shouted.

''Yes.'' She said.

''They are here.'' Said Yahya.

''Who?'' She said.

''Your Prince Charming.'' Said Yayha.

''Stop with your joke.'' She said. Ignoring his brother and she entered.

''Assalamuralaikum, am reallly happy, now I can enjoy life fully....'' she realised that there was people in her house.

''Sorry excuse her.'' Her mum said a bit shy.

I faced palm my face what have I done. I'm so foolish.

'' Zakkiyah Come here beside me.'' Her dad said.

''Now that everyone is here we can proceed.'' Said a man.

I was confused not knowing what was happening.

''So Zakkiyah & Zaky in 2 weeks you will get married.'' Her dad said.

I was bewildered what was happening to me. I was speechless. Everyone was going with the flow. Now I realised everyone knew and I was the only one who was clueless.

Everyone was gone and my mum came in my room telling me that my dad would be very sad if I refused the proposal.

My dad came a bit late telling me that he is very happy that I already gave my answer about the proposal. I did not understand his behavior I was out of words.

I went to sleep. The next morning I went to perform my wudhu to pray Fajr my mum came and told me that they will proceed with the Nikah.

''What???''Zakkiyah said.

''It's your dad dream to see you marry with his best friend's son and I already told your father that you said yes''her mum said.

I went to pray and went back to sleep. I don't have choice. I will do it only for my dad's sake. He did a lot for me, now it's my turn not to break his dream no matter what.

Inside of me I knew that I was a burden for my family. I was the disgrace of my family. All of my siblings is talented only me.

''I am sorry i'm such a burden.'' She said before closing her eyes.
