When it comes to roleplay, here's what you need to know:•I'm a literate Roleplayer who loves new concepts (as it says in my profile). But what does it mean? It simply means that I use proper spelling and grammar, and my replies are always more than 5 sentences unless there are crazy extenuating circumstances. Also, if you didn't get that Jack Skellington reference, we can't be friends. Kidding... Maybe.
•There's two ways these roleplays can be kicked off:
1. The picking of victims...heh, I mean characters commences and the roleplay begins without discussing plot until the characters get to know one another.
2. The picking characters/victims commences and a preconceived plot line is implemented. These plot lines can be anywhere from thin, to relatively thick.
•If there is a preferred character type you have to work with, I will never ask you to change your character to fit my style. Not only do I find those types of requests to be incredibly disrespectful, but I also believe it's a testament to good writing to be able to work with other people's characters as is, and make it incredible.
• I always use two characters- one male and one female. Exceptions can be made if you can promise it's not about smut.
• There is a lot of leniency when it comes to content of the roleplays, so swearing is allowed. I do try and steer clear of the "immediately in love" scenarios, for the sole purpose of character development. It also tends to get cheesy, and I'm slightly lactose intolerant.
•I have my favorite characters in my head and can give you brief descriptions of them. I am also capable of coming up with characters on the fly, so if they seem a bit fumbly that is likely the reason.
•If you have an idea, bring it. I'm horrible at beginning roleplays, but once I'm in the swing of it I like to think I'm pretty good.
If you're down, you're down.
