"Nothing is true, everything is permitted."

+theincredibleholc

I disagree with you,

I feel that you have completely miss the point of "Nothing is True, Everything is Permitted"

This is what you said: "To say that "Nothing is True" assumes that the statement is a true statement. It's fundamentally philosophically flawed, unfortunately. It's a great concept, but it doesn't work."

The point of this statement is not to be Absolute or a Doctrine, you are assuming that everything must be logically air tight, which misses the point entirely.

"Nothing is True" is not an assertion but an Observation. Society, Law, Doctrine are all mearly concepts, ideas. What is right for you might be wrong for me, what I see a virtuous someone else might see as immoral. Nothing is True shows that we are all individuals with only our flawed senses of perception and our own ideals and dreams.

"Everything is Permitted" shows that we as individuals are free to manifest our own lives through our actions, and that no law or creed can stop this will to act. It shows that we are all accountable for our actions "whether glorious or tragic"

You assume that the WORDS "Nothing is True" are a logical contradiction, and in adopting this assumption you have ignored the nuance and meaning of the phrase.

The Last Human Series

The story revolves around a character who believes or discovers himself to be the last human to exist in a universe full of different beings that stemmed from the humans. These beings are evolutions or machines that exceed the capabilities of the human body and could live against the hazards of the Sun after millions of years and the space of the Universe ultimately. Such example, which would be mainly discussed in the following events, are Androids. These are humanoid machines designed to assist Humans in mostly hard ways that otherwise cannot be done alone. Androids, being superior in every way to humans and not limited by the organic proponents, come up superior against the humans. War entails because of their differences, which led to the destruction of half of humanity. People left are coexistent with androids. However, some androids still despise the human race for their "unconventional thinking" because humans do not live in an efficient way of life that androids cannot fully comprehend.

Years and years past, resources in Earth starts to wane and Global warming almost eradicates the Human Race leaving the adaptable Android in the world. Even the very first android still exists after everything that has occurred due to the numerous fixes, upgrades, and mind-transfers by androids.

Other beings might be Hideauze, Neoman (humans that left the Planet after it proved inhabitable), and Reptiles idk.

Book 1: Year 3XXX

The Last Human was given birth by his mother in an isolated area away from the raging war. Every living Human is hunted for the Supremacy of Androids because it has been proven that eradication would far more benefit the planet than sustenance. The Last Human (which we will now call H) was taken in by pro-human androids.

H is raised in a far island where the android parent would struggle to find something to feed the human, scavenging the dead planet for anything edible. AP did not allow H to even be a cyborg (semi-human, not 100% Accepted) to live because AP believed that H should live as humane as possible.

H would grow up in the island and would ask so much questions that AP could only answer by the best he could. (AP disconnected from the HIVE)

H: What's beyond the sea?
AP: More Sea.
H: Are there any other place like this island?
AP: Maybe, Last time I checked, this was the last.
H: You're capable of leaving, why won't you?
AP: I don't want to leave you here.
H: Then let's both leave and explore the world! Let's go to the places you've always told me, and I want to meet other humans!
AP: That's harder than you think.
