Mirae walked into Yoongi's office and smiled.
"Good morning, Mr Min."
He nodded and continued working on some files.
"Do you need something, Ms Kim?"
Mirae nodded.
"I just wanted to give you my week notice."
Yoongi stopped and looked up at her.
"Week notice?"
Mirae nodded with a smile.
"Yes, sir."
Yoongi shook his head.
"What? Why?"
Mirae smiled softly.
"I just think it's time for me to focus on myself."
Yoongi leaned in his chair.
"This is unexpected."
Mirae nodded.
"I'm sorry, sir."
Yoongi shook his head.
"Ms Kim, can you give me a month before you leave? I need to find you a suitable replacement. After that I want you to train them. A month."
Mirae smiled and nodded.
"Of course, sir. I can do one month."
Yoongi nodded.
"Alright."
Mirae sat at her table and sighed. She is going to miss this place and people in it. But she needs to focus on herself for a bit.
Yoongi sighed as Mirae walked out.
She wants to quit? He didn't expect that. Mirae was really good at her job and everyone loved her. Why would she suddenly decide to quit?
He shook his head and got back to work.
But no matter how hard he tried, Mirae was on his mind. He stood up and walked out of the office. Mirae stood up and smiled.
"Are you alright, sir?"
Yoongi nodded, putting his hands in his pockets.
"I'm going to Mr Kim. Cancel the meeting."
Mirae nodded.
"Alright, sir."
Mirae watched him walk away and smiled after him. She's definitely going to miss him. He was a great boss.
Yoongi walked into Namjoon's office and sat down. Namjoon watched him curiously.
"What's on your mind?"
Yoongi sighed.
"Ms Kim decided to quit."
Namjoon looked surprised.
"Why?"
Yoongi sighed and leaned on the chair.
"She said she wants to focus on herself. What does that even mean?"
Namjoon laughed.
"She's probably tired of working. It's a lot of responsibility working for you, Yoongi."
He nodded and sighed.
"How do I make her stay?"
Namjoon smirked at his best friend.
"Give her a reason to stay."
Yoongi looked at him and nodded.
"You're right. I have to go."
Namjoon shook his head as Yoongi walked out.
"He likes her. When will he see that?"
