The waverider was dark everyone was sleeping, as I stumbled onto the bridge I heard the all to familiar voice one I did not want to be hearing at this moment "Sara your back" I turned around in a half drunken spin nearly falling over to see zari standing in the doorway. " yup I'm back" zari could hear the words coming out of my mouth being slurred so I guess she picked up on the fact I had been drinking ,a lot
" you okay Sara" she spoke gently completely not like herself , was she being considerate for once, "I'm fine I just want to sleep" using all the energy I had left I headed to my room "goodnight Sara" she called after me but I didn't answer the only thing I wanted to answer to was my bed calling me to come to it.
I didn't feel like changing so I just rolled onto the bed pulling the covers over my body and falling asleep. What felt like an hour to me turned into morning, jolting awake by a nightmare there was a knock on my door. I stumbled to the door and opened it revealing Nate standing there looking dumbfounded and shocked. "Earth to Nathan" I waved my hand in front of his face still no reply so I did the only other thing I could think of I slapped him
" what the hell Sara" "you were in another universe Nathan ,why the hell are you knocking on my door" he stood there looking at the floor for a few seconds before looking at me again. "Spit it out nate" "laurel's on the bridge" for one split second all the memories of my sister came flooding back to me I had suppressed them but hearing nate say she was here brought them all back "that's not possible right laurels dead right wait is she alive Sara" it took me a moment before I could bring myself to speak again " no Nate my laurels dead I know who this is"
Walking to the bridge I realized, what do I say to her , why is she here , how did she get here. But none of those were as big as , what do I do with her. As I neared the entrance to the bridge I calmly collected my thoughts , and there she stood in a tight black leather suit with a cape like shall on the back, lace was woven through the sleeves and she stuck a pair of of thigh high leather stilettos " black siren what are you doing here" " how did you get here"
