You are write music for all types of artist, so tonight you are going to the Video Music Awards. You are staying at this VERY expensive hotel. The show starts at 9:00 PM. Its about 7:30 right now, you had alot of work to do before the show so you went to go take shower in your suite. Once you got out of the shower you blow dried your hair and put it in curlers. You put your golden dress on along with your black heels, put on all your jewlry and started on your make up. You grabed your iPhone and your clutch and headed out. You rented a limo for the awards. You saw it parked in the hotel parking lot, you got in and headed towards the awards.
When you got there you had to get a few pictures taken, you didnt mind. It made you feel famous. Even though you just wrote songs. Most of the songs nominated for awards you wrote. Once the paps were done taking pictures you headed inside.The awards are about to start so you take your seat. You looked over to see who the people sitting next to you were, you were sitting next to Olly Murs and his band! Your fangirl mind couldnt take it! It was all you could do to hold in the screaming!
“Hi, umm. I’m Jamie.” You say.
“I know who you are, I’m Olly” He said.
“You know who I am?” You say confused.
“Jamie, You do write songs for the top artist of the world,I’m a big fan of yours.” He said. You couldnt say anything. You just grinned widely and thanked him. You were about to strike up a conversation with him but the show was starting.
“Hello, and welcome to the 2012 Video Music Awards” The host said. Everyone cheered. Once the host was done with his into Alyshia Keys started to preform her new song that you wrote for her. It was one of your favorites. Once she finished she said “I just want to give a big thank you to Jamie, without you I would not be standing here right now. You are incredible” You blushed and mouthed a thank you to her.
They were now saying the nominies for best pop video.
”The Nominies for best pop video are” The anouncer said. You were excited for this award you had writen 3/5 songs in that catagorie. (Payphone, Boyfriend, We Found Love)
“fun. We Are Young., Justin Bieber, Boyfriend. Maroon 5 ft. Wiz Kalifa, Payphone. One Direction, What Makes You Beautiful. And, Rihanna, We Found Love.” The Anouncer said.
“And the winner is………….ONE DIRECTION “WHAT MAKES YOU BEAUTIFUL” He said. Everyone cheered and screamed. You obviously knew who they were. You were happy for them. You had wanted to work with them in the future but they never asked.
Once the 5 members got up on stage Louis said “We just want to give a massive thank you to all of our American fans for voting for us. We love you so so much, This is truly an honor!” Then Niall said “This is absolutly incredible to stand before you right now..Its just mindblowing. To those of you who are trying to get to where we are today…We are living proof to why you should never give up. Thank you guys so much” He said. With that they all said thank you and walked off, With a moonman in their hand. But when Harry Styles was leaving off the stage you could have swore he winked at you…you were just going to deny it until Olly said somthing.
“Jamie….Did Harry just wink at you?” He said.
“Oh gosh! You saw that too!” You said. Blushing a little.
“I think most everyone in here saw it” He said. Making you blush even harder.
“Why would he do that though?” You said.
