Before you ask, yes I am writing the next chapter to Hello Stranger!! It is getting there I promise but I've had little or no inspiration recently (thanks to the lack of Flac on our screens) so it's happening just... slowly;)

This is just how I would like Flac to turn out based on the Autumn trailer, though I can't believe they were teasing at Flac in LAST YEAR's AUTUMN TRAILER!! And still nothing has happened!! Outrageous, am I right? Xx

"What we have... what we could be, together."
Jac looked into his eyes longingly, they both knew what was happening. Fletch reached for her hands and held them in his, gently stroking her fingers with his thumb.
"Together?" She whispered
He smiled gently and nodded
"You and me." He confirmed
She felt herself melt into his gaze and though she wanted to look away, she couldn't. His face was so kind, so full of longing. She felt herself lean in, only very slightly, but it was caught on by Fletch and he bowed his head, his hands slipping around her waist to support her. Jac's hands crept up and rested on his chest neither of them breaking eye contact until their lips were inches apart. He could smell her perfume and feel the heat from her skin. Jac closed her eyes, caught in disbelief as the moment she had been picturing for months was happening, but as Fletch brushed his lips against hers, she used more strength than she knew she had in her to push against his chest and away from him.

It took a while for Fletch to realise what had happened. But Jac wasn't looking at him anymore. She was facing her desk and her eyes were fixed downwards.
"I can't do this" she whispered quietly as she tried to blink away the tears. She wanted to, she really did. What she felt for him was something she hadn't felt with anyone. He made her feel safe and she knew that no matter how hard she pushed him, he would always be there for her. But she knew she couldn't reciprocate because she wasn't strong enough to stay, and he deserved better than that.
"Jac -" He approached her again but she turned around and put her hands out to stop him
"Stop" she said but she looked him in the eye this time.
Fletch watched her carefully. She was hurting, he could see that but he needed to figure her out, he needed to be there as someone she could rely on, he just had to.
"Look I didn't mean to push you, Jac, I'm sorry"
It hurt her to make him think it was his fault
"No... no, Fletch it's not you, I promise"
"Then what's the problem? Hmm? Talk to me"
"Why are you being like this? I don't deserve someone like you" The tears were falling down her cheeks
"Jac, when are you going to realise that I love you for who you are? Don't you think it bothers me that you're a surgeon and I'm a nurse? That... that you're salary could pay my rent 10 times over? I toss and turn every night trying to figure out a way I can be good enough for you. So that's why. That why I keep coming back, that's why, I'm so determined to be there for you. Because it's all I have to offer."

Fletch looked ashamed. Jac had no idea. She had no idea he felt he wasn't good enough for her. And it broke her heart.
Silence filled the office as Fletch had run out of things to say. Jac realised now that most of their conversations consisted of him talking and her listening. She'd never been a good listener but he made it easy for her because she wanted to listen to him.
She knew she shouldn't have but at that moment, all she wanted was to be close to him. So she walked across the office and slipped her arms over his shoulders and around his neck to hug him. Almost instantly, Fletch's were around her middle, holding her tightly like he never wanted to let go. Jac closed her eyes and wished the moment to last forever. Her cheek was against his neck and she whispered
"You're too good for me Fletch. You are kind and funny and so incredible and God, do I love you too."
Fletch pulled away to look Jac in the eye but kept holding her close.
"But I will ruin you. Because it's what I do"
"What if that's my choice"
Jac frowned. She had never had someone so blatantly disregard her opinion before. But then, she'd never met anyone quite like Fletch before.
"What if," Fletch continued "I need you in my life"
"And you call me stubborn" She commented and smiled at him when he did.
"Let me love you" He half asked, half told.
She didn't need to think about it anymore, truth is, she needed him too. But more than that, she wanted him. It was subtle, small but meaningful, as she tilted her head into a nod.
Fletch took it slower this time, feeling everything. His hands on her lower back, hers linked around his neck. Their bodies pressed together and her face, so beautiful. Jac tilted her chin up slightly as their lips brushed each other. She could have sworn her heart stopped beating momentarily but then his lips were on hers and everything melted away. Their jobs, their lives and everything in between. Everything that had happened between them didn't matter anymore. They kissed slowly and full of affection at first but then they were more hurried, in an attempt to take as much of each other in as they could.
They finally broke apart and rested their foreheads together. Jac's eyes were closed but she smiled because she couldn't help it.
"Don't ever leave me because I swear to God Fletcher I will never get over you now"
"I think it will be me struggling to get over you don't you think?" He replied
"No." She replied bluntly "Because I'm not going anywhere" She said before kissing him again.

Well it wasn't exactly realistic but I want them to get together, even if it's just in my imagination hahaha xx
