I walk down the dimly lit streets. My father owns a cafe, and i run the dessert department. It had been a busy day; and i ran out of milk halfway through. Tonight, dad left me the keys and i left for the store. I payed for some jugs of milk, and put em' in the fridge. I locked up shop, and headed home.
I open the heavy door, and go upstairs to my room. On my bedside table is a lettuce -cheese -tomato-whole wheat bread sandwitch, with a note. It said:
"Hey. Sorry i made you run out to the store, but i needed to get home to pick up Dylan. We had leftover pizza, but you didnt like the kind we had so i made you this.
Goodnight, i love you so much. -Dad"
"Goodnight" I whisper.
I lay on the science-themed bed, and watch some TV while eating my dinner. I turn off the TV, and following, the lamp. A crack of light comes through the door, and someone takes my plate.
"Goodnight."
