✼009 | Confession✼

Jaemin ran to the bridge, his hair was slightly wet since it has started sprinkling. He reached the bridge, his eyes landed on the boy who was distracted watching the patterns the small water droplets created when they came in contact with the pond.

His heart skipped a beat, He wasn't sure if he wanted to this now.

He slowly walked next to Jeno, He stared at the boys back for a while. He began to reach out for his hand but he immediately froze. His heart started beating faster.

Jeno looked to the side then noticed Jeno behind him, He turned to Jaemin.

"I honestly don't know why you called me when you basically knew the weather would be like this" He laughed slightly.

The aura between them felt strange, Jaemin didn't say anything to him, he just kept on staring at his eyes.

"Is everything alright?" Jeno became concerned. He grabbed Jaemin's arm. He pushed his arm away. Jeno looked confused.

"Why didn't you tell me that you broke up with Gi" Jaemin mumbled.

"Why did I have to tell you that?"

"Because you're my Best friend Jeno, You have to tell me"

Jeno stayed silent.

"What if you were heartbroken, When did it happen?"

"The day I went to your house"

Jaemin looked at Jeno and immediately felt bad, Now he understood why he didn't go to her house. Jeno grabbed his hand. "It doesn't matter now...don't worry"

Jaemin looked at the intertwined hand. His heart fluttered.

"How does it not matter?"

"Because-" He stopped. "Don't you have to tell me something first though"

"Tell you what?"

"Who's the seventh person Na Jaemin"

He looked at Jaemin with serious eyes. Jaemin's face turned red. He was going to do it. He stared at Jeno's lips then stared back at his eyes.

"Fine, I'll tell you.." Jaemin smiled. "Close your eyes"

"Why? If you run away, Ima murder you"

"No no, I'm not like that"

Jeno stared at Jaemin. "Fine..."

Jeno closed his eyes.

Its time.

Jaemin slowly moved in and there was no longer a gap between their lips.

Jeno looked surprised. His heart was beating really fast.

But he quickly melted into the kiss.

Jeno pulled away, he was lost for words. Jaemin's eyes widen.

"I'm so sorry!! I just couldn't hel-"

He got cut off by a soft pair of lips on his own once again.

Now it was his turn to be surprised. He closed his eyes and their lips moved in sync, their arms wrapped around each other.

Jaemin smiled into the kiss. They parted away.

"I love you Lee Jeno"

Jeno smiled. "I love you too Na Jaemin.."

"I don't understand!" Gi questioned.

"I'm sorry Gi..." Jeno frowned.

"We were doing fine yesterday."

"I fell in love with someone else..."

"Who is this girl?"

Jeno stayed quiet.

Gi's eyes widened. "Its a boy..."

Jeno nodded and fiddled with his fingers.

Gi stared at Jeno. She walked over to him and grabbed his hands.

"I understand.."

Jeno looked up at her, "Do you really?"

She nodded. "I see the way you stare at him, it's kinda cute actually"

Jeno grinned.

"Ill say...You should confess..."

"Cant.."

"Why not?"

"I set him up on dates... He might find someone" Jeno sighed.

"You're an idiot Jeno"

He glared at Gi.

"Go before it's too late"
