Grace's POV
Since I didn't have school today I decided to sleep in.But remember what I told you about my luck with the alarm I have.Well it ended up going off today when I didn't need it to.After I turned it off I tried going back to sleep,which I couldn't.So I just got up and started my day.
I got into a nice warm shower that I know would take all the stress of off me.I scrubed scalp with my coconut scented shampoo.Then I let the water relax all my muscles that needed to relax.After I turned the water off I dried myself off.I walked back in my room and started to pick out something to wear.I put on a pair of jeans,a black tank and a black flanal that had three buttons at the top.Then I went back into the bathroom blowdried my hair then straightened it.Then I put on a little bit of makeup.
After I went into my kitchen and started to make some breakfast.I really didn't feel like cooking so I just ate a bagel.As I ate I turned on my tv and fliped threw the channels.After I cleaned up I just continued watching tv until I herd a knock on my door.When I opened it I saw it was Justin.
"Hey" I said opening the door
"Hey,I was wondering if you could show me around a little bit?" He asked
"Yeah let me just get my bag,come in" I steped to the side so he could enter
Once he entered I closed the door and went to go put shoes on and get my bag
"Do you know what your gonna do with your apartment yet?" I asked putting a shoe on
"What do you mean?"
"Well with my apartment I painted the walls because they were a really ugly color and I bought some new furniture" I said walking out of my room
"Oh,I might paint the walls or something"
"Okay and if you would like I can help"
He looked kinda suprised
"What?" I asked
"You don't look like the type to be handy"
"There's a lot you don't know about me,you coming I said walking out the door
We walked out of the building and we were now on the sidewalk
"Don't worry I'm not gonna give you a history lesson or anything,I'm gonna show you what's fun around here,shall we start"
"You lead the way"
"Let's start walking"
We walked around and I showed him around a little bit.After we stopped at a cafe to get some coffee.We payed for our coffee and sat down at a tabel.
"So,where are you from?" I asked
"Ontario"
"Maple Leaf's?"
"Of corse"
"I didn't know you were Canadian"
"There's a lot of thing's you don't know about me,where are you from?"
"New York City,born and raised"
"Wow"
"What are you suprised"
"No,but doesn't it get boring?"
"Not really it's the city"
We kept on talking until it was getting late and the cafe was closing.As we were walking back we continued to talk and then we saw a stray dog on the sidewalk.
"Oh my god,who would just leave this little guy here" I said picking up the chocolate lab
"He cute" Justin said as I got closer to him
"You wanna take him?"
"Why don't you,he seems to like you"
"I would,but I have school"
"Is that what you were late for yesterday?"
"Yup"
"Why don't we share him" He said refuring to the dog
"That works,I guess"
We walked back to our apartment building and I invited Justin to come and hang out for a little bit.
"Do you think we should give him a bath,he kinda smells" I said walking inside
"We probilly should"
"Okay,I'll go run the water"
He nodded
I filled up the tub with warm water and lots of bubbles.After I finished running the bath Justin brought Reses in,that's the name we decided on since he looked like a Reses peanutbutter cup.We put him in the bath but he kept on trying to climb out.Once we started rincing him off he climbed out and got us both wet.As he took off me and Justin started laughing.
Once our laughing died down we sat there in silence just stairing at eachother.I couldn't take the silence anymore so I splashed him and after I quickly ran away.When I looked behind me I saw Justin was behind me so I sped up and ran into the kitchen.
"I'm gonna get you Grace,so don't even bother running" He said almost catching up to me
"Oh yeah,come and get me" I joked
I ran into the kitchen and then I grabbed a towel.When Justin came in I snuck behind him and hit him with the towel.He then turned around and saw it was me,then passed him another towel.
"Ya know giving me a towel is not helping your case" He said
"I know,but I play fair" I teased
"This actually isn't fair because I'm gonna beat your ass"
"Haha very funny,I think you ment the other way around" I said hitting him with the towel again
