Well my names jenna and i dont feel like i belong next to these heros. They are all so confident in themselves. For the longest time i wasnt as confident as them, but that changed. Here I'll explain. One day the rift happened giant crack in the sky, i was outside. It started to rain and i was lost in my own head again. But the rain hurt like badly. I quickly blocked my face and tried to run inside, yea... i fell. I yelled "STOP" and it did. I had a bubble(?) around me. But when i walked inside all i could hear was my familys thoughts. It was scary but their family it wasn't as bad as i originally thought. Weeks go by and my normal loud self keep quite and just watched. One day i decided "fuck it I'm going to use my powers i want to know what people think of me". I read 13 minds with no problem but i was hesitant on JT. He's nice dont get me wrong but he's scary still, but as we went to lunch i did it i went in his mind. Holy shit it was crazy in there. A deep fake voice bellowed "why are you here? Are... are you real? Whatever you are leave!" "J.. JT?" I whimpered. "FUCK" the voice yelled. "TELL ME WHAT DO YOU WANT?" "Um i want to see inside your mind" i lowly whispered. "FINE" ... the room went dark then i saw him being beat up by some kids, but they all didn't have faces. Then suddenly all i see is him losing another fight " that ... that was yesterday ?" I said. he sat there taking every hit blow by blow and he said much more quietly "i took those hits not because I'm weak but because i am strong enough not to use my powers. It's not easy being a freak i have abilities most men would kill for and im just looking fir a way to lose them." Then it flashes to a fight with gang bangers him and a girl fighting them off to save a old man. "Your a hero?" I said. " No I'm a worse monster then them i hurt people, you need to get far away from me." The room faded away and we were standing there. We are both crying like idiots. "So can i join your little team ?" I said with a smile "yes after going through that you earned your spot" he said kinda out of breath. I still remember meeting everyone sarah aka slash, Eddie aka terra-volt, JT alina and Aidan aka the power couple, and lastly b.o.b. he doesn't talk so we gave him a name. Then JT exclaims loudly "LADIES GENTLEMEN AND BOB, I'D LIKE TO WELCOME JENNA TO THE NEW HOPE". That was the day i decided i belonged. To the new hope, to my new family.
