Mabel had been re-reading the email from Payton. She slowly began seeing how much, he hurt her. She started to read just the last sentence over and over. "you are a fucking hoe and I hope you die!" She began seeing that this world would be so much easier without her. Mabel got up from her bed slowly. Feeling numb with every step she took. As she slowly walked toward her garage, she felt her eyes start to burn. Tears slowly rolled down her puffy red face. When she got to the garage, she grabbed a 10 foot long rope. As she grabbed the rope she thought of all the people who would be happier. Payton, he would finally have what he wanted, me dead. Dylan, he could finally live his life without having to protect me and stand up for me when anything happens. She slowly and steadily walked back to her room. She tied the rope to her ceiling fan. She was ready to just jump off her bed but, she realized she needed an explanation for everyone. She walked carelessly to her desk grabbing a piece of paper. She slowly began writing knowing this would be her last thing she wrote.
I don't really know how to start this, I never thought I would be at this point in life. Over many years, I had been bullied and tortured for being me. I don't want to do this anymore. Dylan, please know that none of this is your fault and you are the best big brother a girl could ask for. I have to make my own decisions from now on. I will love you forever. Please move on, I know it will be hard but, please move on from this. I will watch you find love and have a family. Please know that we will see each other again, I promise. Payton, you have ruined me. You tortured me, you hurt me, and most importantly you broke me. I loved you and you broke me into a million pieces. I hate you and now you get to live with knowing, I died because of you. I will haunt you, just like your lust haunted me. Caleb, I know we fell out in 7th grade but, thank you. You helped me when I was sad. And I really appreciate it. Rachel, you also ruined me. You told everyone, the one thing I was uncomfortable with. You stripped me bare, in front of everyone. I hope you know, I still miss you. You probably don't miss me. Thank you for those amazing memories and thank you for being an awful person, teaching me to be different. Mom and Dad, thank you. I love you so much! Please forgive me for doing this, I just can't handle it anymore. Mom, I will always love you, we will see each other again. Dad, thank you for teaching me to be strong, I love you! I'm sorry to everyone. I am just not as strong as I thought. I will see you all again.
Love You Always,
Mabel
Mabel was sobbing at this point, knowing any moment from now all her pain would be gone. She began re-reading it, making sure it was perfect. The more she read it, the more she cried. She slowly got up from her bed, she slowly stood on the chair in the middle of her room. Her glassy gaze broke at the sound of her phone ringing. She ignored it, knowing if she answered she may change her mind. She knew who it was. It had to be Dylan. She didn't want him to hear her crying. It rang again, making her glare at the phone. She soon realized it was not Dylan, it was Caleb. What would Caleb want? We haven't talked in 3 years. The phone kept ringing, she couldn't ignore it anymore. She slowly and steadily got off the chair. She carelessly started walking to her bed, to grab her phone. As she picked up her phone, the idea of just declining it came it her head. She realized if she did decline it, he would keep calling. She did not want to last thing she heard be a phone call. She slowly answered it.
"H-Hello?" Mabel said sniffling.
"Mabel, hey, are you okay?" Caleb asked sounding worried.
"Not really." Mabel said quickly beginning to cry.
