First Tail: The Knight and The Wolf

 In this world, we are known as wolf girls. Many of us have different jobs just like humans, we strive to live our life to the fullest, this is my story of how I became the happiest I could ever be.

First Tail: The Knight and the Wolf.

I previously worked as a maid in a mansion, but the lord was- oh... I think I should introduce myself first. My deepest apologies. My name is Meer, I'm a half-human, half-wolf girl, as I was saying earlier, I was a maid of a castle, but my lord gave up on his life and without anyone to succeed the throne, I, as many other maids, were left without a home and a job.

Now, I'm packing my things and going to the capital, it's a week of traveling through woods, mountains and snow, rough, but there's no other option left for us.

Young Maid: Wow... Meer your tail is so white!

Adult Maid: Yeah it looks like snow!

They were looking as if they were longing to touch it.

Meer: Huh? Oh please don't stare too much.

I'm quite shy about my tail, because it's too flashy, people start to look my way every time it's exposed. It's a constant embarrassment.

Young Maid: But it's so shiny! You must brush it everyday, don't you?

Meer: I-

Old Man: We should get going. - The carriage driver finished bolting the leather straps together. - Ladies, it's one week of traveling, have you got everything in your luggage?

Young Maid: Yea

Adult Maid: Hm-hm.

Maid in Glasses: I did.

Meer: Yes.

They swung their suitcases onto the roof of the carriage. I had some trouble because of my physique, but still managed to do it.

I was the first to enter and sit down, there was space for only four people.

Young Maid: Excuse me Meer.

She sat on my right. While the other on the other side.

I suddenly felt a tingly sensation down my spine, something weird as if I was being enveloped, then that feeling changed into a jolt of shock through my muscles.

Meer: Waah!

My fur stood, along with my ears. I looked to the side, she grabbed the middle of my tail.

Young Maid: Oh! I didn't know it was this sensitive!

Meer: Uuuuuu... don't do this to my tail... - I pulled it and hugged tight on my chest. - It's a wolf girl most precious place.

They looked quite shocked to me.

Meer: W-what...? Did I say something wrong?

Young Maid: M-Meer, b-behind you.

The girl who grabbed my tail was now looking terrified towards me. I glanced over my shoulder and stared directly at a helmet on the height of my window, the eyes were glowing golden.

Meer: AHHHHHHHH!

I fell in the lap of my friend as result. The driver came running on our door.

Old Man: What happened!?

Maid in Glasses: There's a demon on the window!

The other two screamed.

Old Man: Oh... don't worry... it's a bodyguard sent by the king to protect you ladies.
