Breakfast [1]

She had always wanted to be a normal wife. Well actually, she would have wanted to be a wife later than she did, but her husband rushed her into it. Nobody thought that DongShanCai would marry at the young age of 21. She was not even able to finish her university before her wedding. 'What an ass.'

Shancai sighed as she walked towards the kitchen. It was only 6AM. But as a good daughter, she took it to heart that she would try to be a good wife to DaomingSi, which includes waking up early to help in the kitchen for breakfast preparation.

DaomingSi was surprised to learn about this new tradition on the first day they came back from their honeymoon trip. He stared disbelievingly at his new wife when he was woken up the next day for a breakfast prepared by her. It was 6:30AM. A whole 30 minutes earlier than his usual wake up time.

"Dig in." Shancai prodded.

DaomingSi picked up his chopsticks and started eating. "Is this going to be an everyday thing?" He asked while chewing.

Shancai smiled and nodded. "Yeah."

DaomingSi swallowed his food and questioningly looked at his young wife. "You don't have to do this. We have more than 50 helpers to make us breakfast. I've never seen my sister do this to her husband." He explained.

"I want to make our own tradition." Shancai said; her voice full of determination. "Me, making breakfast and you, waking up early includes that."

DaomingSi nodded slowly.

He hates waking up early. He enjoyed sleeping in on those days that he can but obviously, those quiet mornings have come to an end after his marriage. He silently asked himself how in the world did he marry such a bully?

"Do you understand?" Shancai asked.

DaomingSi quickly nodded and continued eating his breakfast.

Shancai smiled and sniffed the fresh morning air. "What a nice morning."
