Later that evening, after spending some time with the family, it was mine and Elle's time. I was going to take her out and then ask her to marry me.
"Hey Shelly," I said as she entered the room.
"Hey Noah, what's going on? Why are you dressed so smart?" Elle asked. I grinned and rolled my eyes.
"We're going out tonight, come on!" I ordered, handing her a pile of clothes. I knew she liked them. It was a great dress with black shiny shoes.
"Noah!" She gasped with excitement "I wanted these for ages! Oh thank you!" She ran up to me and hugged me. I left the room to leave her get changed -I would have stayed. I went to get the ring from a hidden spot that only I knew about. When I found it, I stuffed it into my pocket and then went up to check on Elle.
Just before I could open the door, she walked out, looking beautiful. My Shelly, the girl I want to marry, she was always beautiful and this just made it better. I pulled her close and kissed her.
"I take it I look good?" She giggled. I nodded my head.
"Yeah Shelly, you look amazing!" I replied, smiling. She grabbed my hand and then we walked downstairs together, she grabbed her purse and then left the house to my car.
I opened the door for her and allow her to enter my car.
"Why thank you sir," she giggled.
"Any time Ma'am," I replied, then shut the door. I then rushed to the other seat, and we drove to the beach.
After a while walking. I stopped. Elle looked at me confused.
"What?" She asked. I went down to one knee and pulled the ring from my pocket.
"Will you marry me, Elle Evans?" I asked, the diamond ring standing out even at night. I was frightened for a moment as she wouldn't say anything, then she smiled.
"Yes Noah! I'll marry you!" She cheered. I stood up and held her tight.
"I love you Noah Flynn," she whispered.
"And I love you, Elle Evans,"
We kissed and spent most of the night sat on the dry part of sand, just cuddling.
