I woke up and streached, my bones felt stiff from a while of misuse. This was it, this was the day when I was going to get out of here and actually live my life to the fullest. But that was when the sun rose, and me with it. I put my head back down and let peaceful sleep overtake me, probably for the last time in a while.

I woke up and looked out the window, I saw the sun rise. Right on time, I guess... I looked at the double doors across the room in a moment those doors would open and I would have to execute my plan. I wouldn't stay here and let them decide my fate for me. I was going to rule the world, weather they let me or not. I would rule it without the help of a man.

Just as I thought that, the double doors opened to reveal my friend-well, the closest thing I have to a friend- April. She's the bubbly, everything will be fine type of person. Sometimes those people annoy me, she did at the start, but I have gotten to know her through the times she's gotten me ready for events like these. Or banquets that don't have anything to do with me.
Today there is going to be an engagement at a banquet. People all over are talking about it even though its supposed to be a surprise. The crown Prince Darrian of Coch, idiot name I know, is getting engaged to-drumroll please- me. Yay. Princess Alani of Tawton, the only princess who doesn't want to get married getting married.

April was done getting me presentable, thankfully, if she had taken any longer I would have started to doubt my plan as well as many other things. "Is it too much?" April asked, "'Cause if it is I can change it."

I realized that I had been staring at the mirror for a while. "No, no its fine. I was just thinking. About, you know," I replied. I had told her I knew that I was getting engaged last night. Thankfully she didn't catch on to my plan, she just thought that I was "jittery," whatever that means. She left with a nod. I nodded my head at my reflection, it was satisfactory. I got out of my chair and headed towards the door, I was going to finalize my plans.
