Good ole ghost ranch

Ada's POV
Rolling down Main Street in Ashland City stopping at the gas station to fill up my tank, grab some smokes, and a couple cases of coors light. Ryan had text me that they were okay on beer but knowing my boys I knew to get it now so we'd have it later.

Ryan had just come off a long run of shows and I'd been super stressed with work and deardorff, well he's always stressed it seems like. So tonight we were planning to revert to our younger days get lit and see what we can get into trouble wise.

Finally getting back on the road heading to Ryan's ranch I smiled. I had my windows down on my jeep while bumping "pond creek road" on repeat, my hair was blowing around me as I drove. Smiling at how content I felt taking a long drag off my cigarette as I pulled up Ryan's driveway.

Laying on the horn so the boys would come help me carry in the weekends groceries. After all the bags are carried in the boys pass me around for hugs and "I've missed yous".

"I'm going to go go make sure everything is set up for the fire tonight" Jessie said before heading outside with deardorff following him.

I started putting groceries away with Ryan and Austin helping me. "Ada you got coors? You're the greatest sister anybody could ask for" Austin said laying a big ole kiss on my cheek before cracking one open. Chuckling at how over dramatic he is when he's trying to be funny. "Hand me one bub" I say with a smile. "Let's try not to get drunk and burn the macaroni again babydoll" Ryan said wrapping his arms around my waist from behind me, and lay his chin on top of my head.
"I have missed you so damn much short shit" he said with a sigh. I turn around and wrap my arms around him mumbling into his chest that I missed him too.
We stayed like that for a little while in each others embrace just enjoying it.
"So about that macaroni" he said with a grin. All the guys loved my macaroni I made but Ryan I'd have to say was the biggest fan.

"If you get out of the kitchen maybe I could start" I say with a smirk. He just smiled at me and walked out the back door.

I'm almost finished when Deardorff's girlfriend comes in with their son Tristan following behind.

"Aunt Ada, are you making Mac and cheese" he asks with that shit eating grin.

"Of course bub gotta keep my men happy don't I" I say placing a kiss on his forehead.

"We're all your guys, but I know I'm number one" he says with another smile.

"You are and you know it. Don't tell uncle Church he might get jealous." I tease him.

"Don't tell me what" I hear as the back door shuts.

"That I'm her number one guy" he said with a cocky grin.

"I've been around longer bub, I'm obviously number one" he teased him back before ruffling his hair.

"Nope Aunt Ada gave me first bite" Tristan snapped back.

"You what, I've always got first bit" Ryan said pretending to be hurt. As he grabbed my sides tickling me.
Little dude came to my rescue real quick.

Later that night while Lauren and I are cleaning up he kitchen from dinner and all the guys are outside.
Ryan came in with a sleeping Tristan slung over his shoulder before heading to the guest room to put him in bed. He Come back with a hoody handing it to me along with a beer telling Lauren and I to leave the dishes and come outside.

I sighed as I followed him outside to the fire. He sat down and pulled me into his lap. Ryan and I had always been close friends and pooping down in his lap was nothing new. I snuggled into him sipping on my beer as I listen to the guys cut up and be crazy.

"Will you sing for me Ry" I ask lifting my head and giving him a sleepy smile.

"You want country roads, don't ya babydoll" he asked with a cocky grin.

I just nodded my head as he began to softly sing, molding into his chest and just relaxing. It felt good to just be home and around all my friends and to hear Ryan sing around a campfire. After he finished the last line of the song he placed a soft kiss on my forehead. "I've missed you so much" he said with a soft smile.

"I think I'm turning in early tonight boys, that drive kicked my ass today" I say as I climb out of Ryan's lap.

"Weakkkkkk" Deardorff teases as he gives me a hug.

Making my way back the hall to Ryan's room. Striping out of my hoody and jeans then Pulling a T-shirt from his closet and slipping it over my head. Smiling as the smell of Ryan hit me, crawling into his bed as sleep consumed my tired body.

I'm woken by the bed shifting as Ryan climbs into bed.
"I've missed being together with all our friends. It's been so nice Ryan" I say as I nuzzle into him.

"I've missed it too Ada, brings back old memories" he said kissing my forehead.

"Now get some sleep we've got a lot planned for tomorrow" he said with a tired sigh.

Short but I wanted to get the first chapter up.
