As Sky an i getting ready she can see that their something off about me i mean im easy to read so it was a no brainer

"ok spill whats go into you"

"their no point in lying especially to you but the guy from Tokyo is here." i say as i rummage threw my bag looking for my lavender dress

"thats great! where is he i want meet him an make sure he's good enough for you." she says

"its the groom... he's the guy."

"Ryder!" she says excited

"dont sound excited but yea its him."

"why didnt you say it was him!"

"because i didnt know who he was an besides what were the odds that it would be someone you know an is in my brothers troop!" i say holding up my hands in frustration

"my job. theirs nothing i can do he's getting married i mean it doesn't seem like an ideal marriage but i still have to take the pictures, oh i got some good ones of you an Luca together ill send you a copy later i also go some of Porter an Rose together i wonder if they would like a copy."

"more than likely." she says an just like that were out the door an making our way out.

As we are walking threw the lobby arm in arm, im feeling better now that i finally got out everything an that i finally get to wear that cute little lavender dress that shows off my curves an hugs me in all the right places.

We pass by the guys including Ryder, i can feel his eyes look me up an down an every once in a while our eyes meet, i quickly look away knowing that if i look any longer nothing good can come of it an i wont be the reason this wedding doesn't happen.

Sky breaks off an goes over to Luca an is talking to him while i go an talk to Lucas men.

"So, Ivy your Thorns little sister who would have thought he would have a sister as pretty as you." one guy says

"well, thank you. an your name is?" i say as i tuck a strand of hair behind my ear

"Gabbet ma'am." he says

They all start to talk to me an take their turn complimenting me but i keep glancing over at Ryder an i can see he keeps balling his fist like any second now he's about to get up an knock someone out.

"So were you a southern belle? like are they a thing like in the movies?"

"yes they are a thing an at one point in time i was." i say just as Luca walks over to us an just like that Mr Overprotective has come out to play.

"Tink! where do you think your going dressed like that?" he says

"Out. who do you think you are...mom?"

"burn! she told you man!" one of the guys says to him an he just shoots him a look an he backs down like he's lost a fight

"no, im just watching out for my baby sister."

"She's fine Cappie, she's got me an you know i wont let anything happen to her." Sky says as we continue on our way

I look back over my shoulder an i can see all of his buddies are checking out Sky an i as we walk out the door but Ryders eyes are only fixed to me, i dont know how he does it every time he looks at me my whole body goes hot.

After hoping from a few bars we finally decide to crash the guys party at the club, we charmed the bouncer an got him to look the other way since we technically not allowed in but Sky an i have our ways, when we walked threw the door we were instantly surrounded by guys, we had to push our way to the bar.

we each had a swarm of guys around us its quite funny actually, i mean im surrounded by sexy guys right now i have my pick but the only one i want i cant have, an just like that he pushed his way threw an wraps his arms around my hips an pulls me in close

"thank you boys for keeping my woman company, if you hadn't she would have noticed i was late." he says as he wraps his arms around my waist an holds me close, "you were late? i thought i was just early." i say resting on hand on his, the pressure of his hands on me makes my heart flutter an my cheeks pink an the room feels like its spinning then again it could be form all the drinks sky an i had to drink tonight, she was drinking to have fun, i however was drinking to forget the very thing thats holding me but it didn't help, every sip i took just made the memories worse.

Ryder takes me by my hand an helps me off the stool

"were going up." he tells luca an like that im being lead up stairs an behind a velvet rope to the VIP section

"were going to get in trouble up here."

"no were not, my friends rented out this spot for the party tonight but their all out their dancing among other things." he says as he sits on the couch, i look around the whole up stairs is the vip area an theres a whole self serve bar up here, I look over the balcony an the view is pretty amazing, i can see Luca an Sky dancing, i haven't seen him dance in a long time an for good reason he's out of practice but i know he has those numbers memorized that mom made us learn.

"an why are you not with them?" i ask "ps dont let sky see the self serve bar or we will never leave."

"well, i dont do much dancing, im more of a watcher but i like to slow dance sometimes. an i already figure that out Luca saw it an is aware of it."

"you seem nervous?" he says

"im not." that was a lie im freaking out on the inside ok maybe a little bit on the outside too considering the ice in my drink is shaking

"your lying, i can see the ice in your drink shake an you wont make direct eye contact with me or come anywhere near me."

"i cant." i say as i drop my head

"just cant." i say as i turn around

just before i could make a ass out of myself Sky an luca make their way up the stairs sitting on the other side of the room like two love birds in there own world, im glad my brother an best friend found each other an are happy.
