The Bad Time Trio

Sunlight shone through the Judgement Hall. Sans was standing there, waiting for the human to arrive. Suddenly, he felt a splitting headache, and felt extremely nauseous. He lost consciousness and slumped on the floor.

When he woke up, he saw a human shaped figure wearing a green hoodie face the entrance of the Hall. Sans immediatly went into action and activated Blue Magic and smashed the human shaped figure into the opposite wall. The human figure let out shriek of pain and slumped on the floor. Then, a familiar voice behind Sans said:"SANS?"

Sans turned around to face Papyrus, but he was smoking a cigarette and was wearing an orange hoodie. Sans was shocked. "p-papyrus? i thought you were d-dead?" The Papyrus replied:"ME TOO. SANS HAS DIED TOO." The human wearing the green hoodie limped over. Papyrus and Sans both aimed bone spears at the human. "No... don't shoot me.. I can explain..." Sans and Papyrus looked at each other and put down their weapons. The three of them sat together.

Sans went first. "in my... world, my human had a blank expression. the human murdered every one of my friends and killed papyrus at snowdin. i was in my judgement hall but i got a headache and lost consciousness and woke up to see YOU-" Sans pointed at the human wearing a green hoodie, "so i attacked."

Papyrus said:"MY STORY IS THE SAME AS YOURS... EXCEPT SWAPPED... FOR ME, SANS WAS THE ONE THAT GOT KILLED AT SNOWDIN. MY CAPTAIN OF THE ROYAL GUARD IS ALPHYS AND MY KING IS TORIEL."

Sans replied:"ohh, i see. we are all for different aus. alternate universes that are related to swapping of roles. like, for example, my king is asgore, which in this papyrus's universe, should be the ruins caretaker, right?"

Papyrus agreed.

The human said:"Name's Chara. I know about the AUs too. The reason why Papy over here wanted to attack me because I look like your human, right? We are all from different places, I'm from "Storyshift", Papyrus is from "Underwap" and Sans, whose world is the main one, is called "Undertale". But one thing is for sure. All of us take Sans' role and all of us live in a Genocide timeline, and we all have one main task.

All three of them said together:"Stop the human."

Chara said:"Exactly. So this must be another AU cos this is different from normal."

Sans said:"k. so, what should we call this au? how bout the "Bad Time Trio"?"

Papyrus said:"I LIKE YOU ALREADY, OTHER ME."

Then,the Hall's entrance door swung open.

The human walked in, grinning madly and holdin a knife covered in dust.

"Yup, here's our target. Let's rumble, Bad Time Trio."

The three of them got in position.

"It's a beautiful day outside." Sans said.

"Birds are singing," Papyrus said.

"Flowers are blooming, DUST is scattering..." Chara said with a smile.

"And you, my friend..."

"Should not even deserve to EXIST"

Chara summoned a red knife in her hands and ran towards the human. Sans and Papyrus rained hell on the human with Gaster Blasters and bones. Then, Sans stabbed the human with three blue bones. If they tried to move, they were done for. Then Chara used her knife and stabbed the human, right in the heart. The human coughed up blood and slumped on the floor, dead.

"welp, time for the next reset." Sans said.

All three of them blacked out and woke up just before the human fought them.

"It's a beautiful day outside." Sans said.

"Birds are singing," Papyrus said.

"Flowers are blooming, DUST is scattering..." Chara said with a smile.

"And you, my friend..."

"Should not even deserve to EXIST"

They repeated the same attack pattern again, but this time the human got out of the way of the blue bones. However, Chara summoned a hundred knives behind the human, and every single one found its mark. The human slumped to the ground, dead again.

Again the cycle continued, but the human could never win. One Sans was hard enough. Three made them really mad. However, they refused to give up, and they finally made it to the point where all 3 Sanses were tired.

The human smiled as they brought their blade down on Chara...

...Only to deal 5 damage.

"AHAHAHAHA!!! Do you think a human would have 1 HP? Also, I boosted these two skelebro's HP, so..."

Chara flashed her evil face. "GIVE UP."

The human was then sliced into half by a knife.

"that should be enough to make them quit." Sans said, and he was right.

In the Void, the human had two options, RESET OR CONTINUE. And boy, they were fuming mad. They wanted to grow stronger, not spend half their life trying to beat three Sanses. So they slammed their fist onto the RESET button out of anger...

A bit too hard...

And the RESET button broke.

The human cried out in frustration and reluctantly pressed continue, again.

"It's a beautiful day outside." Sans said.

"Birds are singing," Papyrus said.

"Flowers are blooming, DUST is scattering..." Chara said with a smile.

"And you, my friend..."

"Should not even deserve to EXIST"

The human memorised every single one of their attack patterns... And soon, what would have been a whole year of non stop fighting and eating L. Heroes, they brought Chara down to their last HP.

"Urrgh... I knew this would come one day..." Chara said, before the human brought their knife down and ended his life. Sans and Papyrus were both heartbroken. They had spent more than a million resets together, fighting to defend their kings, and now one of them was dead.

Sans and Papyrus cried out in frustration and together, they formed an almost undodgable attack.

The human retried so many times to find a way past that attack, and finally, they did. However, the next retry after the human messed up on one of the attacks, a figure was with Sans and Papyrus after Chara died, reset after reset. That figure was none other than King Sans, who was getting extremely angry with the resets and the human for killing Chara.

So, the human reset a lot of times, again and again, until their RESET button regenerated.

After 5 years of resets, the RESET button finally regenerated.

The human pressed it.
