Chapter 2

--3 weeks later--

I was sleeping on bed in my room, headphones bulged in my ears, gazing at the ceiling.

It has been 3 weeks and I thought I would be fine by time, but I guess it's not working. I've been having nightmares every night that would make me cry at midnight causing my grandmother to wake up.

I'm living with my grandma, she's the only family I really have, my mum and dad died when I was 5 years old in a car accident, since then I am living with my grandmother.

I gotta tell you it was really hard, feeling like a loner without my parents, back in time at school all the kids got their parents to meet the teachers and my grandma was so old to come to my school and see how I'm doing.

I miss my parents so much, I miss my mum's hug, I miss her combing my hair before going to school, I miss her delicious food. I also miss my daddy, I miss being daddy's little girl, I miss him calling me "Lindsey my angel".

I've got habituated to all of this. Don't get me wrong, I still miss my parents a lot but it just doesn't hurt as before.

"Lindsey back to earth please" I heard Farrah saying right beside me sitting on the bed and I saw Jason my best friend laying down next to me, I don't even know when did they get here.

"Oh hey guys when did you get here?" I asked while pulling the headphones from my ears.

"Lenlen, I missed you my girl, how are you doing?" Jason asked me while embracing me in a bear hug.

"Dying, Jason, thanks to you" I told him while rolling my eyes and getting away from his hug "and stop calling me with that stupid nickname"

"Why lenlen its cute and you're cute, " he smiled to me a real innocent smile while pinching my cheeks, well, I have to say that he looked adorable doing this thing, but I think I would never admit that.

"ugh just stop it Jason please"

He pouted "fine"

" I'm still here people" Farrah said, rolling her eyes

"I noticed" both me and Jason said at the same time, we looked at each other and laughed, I guess Farah was thinking about a way to murder us and hide our bodies.

"Ugh, whatever, " she sighed.

"How are you doing now Lindsey? " She asked me with real concern in her eyes.

"I'm fine Farrah you should quit worrying about me"

"Oh, that's great because your going out with us tonight. It's Emma's birthday and she told me to invite you so you better start looking for a dress " Farrah said and then she went to my closet.

"Wait wait, what are you doing? I'm not going anywhere and definitely I'm not going to a party its.."

Before I can complete my sentence, Jason said "no butts lenlen, you're coming with us".

Farrah threw a dress on me "go with this strapless black short dress, simple and classy and fits all your curves" she said winking at me.

"Guys, I don't want to be the party proper, but I'm not going anywhere, I'm definitely not in the mood of partying right now"

Farrah sighed"Lindsey listen to me, it's been 3 weeks you have to move on. It's totally over now after 11 months living in that goddammit hell you deserve some good time, so we're going out to celebrate. come on move your ass up and get dressed and put some makeup because you're coming with us to the party. we're going to get drunk and get wasted  and have the best time of our life, am I clear?"

I sighed as I knew she's not going to leave me whatever I made out "would you ever let me stay at home and not go to that party?" I asked.

"Not a fortune"

"All right, " I rolled my eyes.

She smirked in victory and then we both heard a snoring sound coming from my bed, Jason was sleeping in 10 fucking minutes! Farrah laughed and threw a pillow at him

"Wake up sleeping beauty, " she rolled her eyes.

Jason began to open his eyes and found Farrah looking at him and standing so near from him "boooo".

He suddenly fell from my bed and landed on his ass on the ground.

"Ouch!" he groaned.

Farrah was rolling on the floor laughing "god Jason your face was priceless"

I rolled my eyes, I have got such retarded maniac best friends, but honestly, I don't know what I would have done without them in my life!.
